FireChan Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 http://www.oregonlive.com/ducks/index.ssf/2015/04/former_oregon_duck_colt_lyerla_2.htmlWith a semi-hole at TE #2, and a UDFA cheap contract, does Lyerla make any sense?
K D Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 If he was worth anything then Chip would have signed him by now
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Sign him to the Tebow $0 guaranteed deal.
VanCity Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 (edited) The guy was a major talent at Oregon. I remember watching him as a Duck and thinking that he would have been awesome as a Bill. Great hands, big time athleticism and hit hard on the blocks. If his head is truly on straight, bring him into camp and see if Rex and Roman can make him shine again. Edited April 26, 2015 by VanCity
NewEra Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Roll the dice. Worst case scenario, cut him. Not sure why we wouldn't at least take a look.
Mr. WEO Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Cocaine possession: check. Let's beat the crowd and sign him now.

NoSaint Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 But can he play? He hasn't answered that as a yes yet
ALF Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 If the Honey Badger can turn it around maybe Colt can
unbillievable Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 If he's going to succeed, It's going to be someplace like Buffalo where it's far away from the partying life.
Mr. WEO Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 If he's going to succeed, It's going to be someplace like Buffalo where it's far away from the partying life. True. Eugene Oregon and Gren Bay Wisconsin are just too intense, party life-wise, for a guy like this too stay out of trouble. Have him come to Buffalo where some of the HOFers can desribe their years of clean living while they played there ...
FireChan Posted April 26, 2015 Author Posted April 26, 2015 He hasn't answered that as a yes yet True, but if he could, would you overlook that other stuff?
Ted William's frozen head Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 If he's going to succeed, It's going to be someplace like Buffalo where it's far away from the partying life. That's funny. I lived in Buffalo for 12 years, and it's one of the hardest partying towns that I've ever lived in.
Bangarang Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Don't the Packers have big need at TE? They let this kid go right? I didn't buy into the hype when he came out for the draft and I don't buy it now. I'd pass.

Bills Fan in MD Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Here's a quote from his video "plea" to teams: "To the NFL teams out there, obviously there have been a lot of bad decisions made in the past, . . ." I'm usually not one to harp on bad grammar, but the use of passive voice is pretty striking. That quote doesn't really sound like a guy ready to take responsibility for his actions in that he's basically saying "stuff happens."
