NoSaint Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 @nfldraftscout: Per @BKSportsTalk, Missouri defender Shane Ray cited for marijuana possession this morning outside Columbia, MO. https://t.co/dDYR1aIhKg Winning week for Ray....
FluffHead Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 @bomani_jones: in other news, this is BAD timing for shane ray. http://t.co/TL0goDsGoF
YoloinOhio Posted April 27, 2015 Author Posted April 27, 2015 Special kind of stupid. He had one job!!!
dezertbill Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Ray is an idiot. A week before the draft gets cited for Mary Jane??? Â I don't think Clemmings will fall to 50. If he does Rex will be driving to his house. Buff would jump on him.
YoloinOhio Posted April 28, 2015 Author Posted April 28, 2015 @AlbertBreer: Also, according to info from 5 NFL teams, Shane Ray failed a drug test early on in his career at Missouri. That comes back to haunt him now.
VaMilBill Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 I don't understand how these guys fail to realize they are not in college anymore and are entering a professional environment where there are strict rules and standards
Kirby Jackson Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 This is going to sound incredibly self serving so I apologize in advance. In a year when the Bills don't have a 1st round pick I am kind of glad to see some of the top talents raising red flags. Maybe they will slip to a place where they will be great value? It happened with Dez and Randy Moss. I'm not saying that Gregory or Ray gets to 50 but if they get to 27 and you can get them for 50 and next year's 2nd jump at it.
4merper4mer Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 These feet problems might simply be an ene but pot addiction lingers.
DJasper Probincrux III Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Combined with the foot, I think Round 2 is pretty much a given and the question is if he falls further than that. It's going to depend a lot of what teams already scooped on him from college. I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that this wasn't his first dalliance with Mary Jane.

Can you think of many possible top 10 picks slipping into round two or further over turf toe or a weed bust?
DJasper Probincrux III Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Can you think of many possible top 10 picks slipping into round two or further over turf toe or a weed bust? Now it's both though.
Captain Hindsight Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Can you think of many possible top 10 picks slipping into round two or further over turf toe or a weed bust? He won't get past 15
Pete Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 good. Hopefully he gets busted again and slides to us at 50
#34fan Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 No. Way. Â 3 stinkin' days before the draft??? -Unbelievable. This kid ordered a side of dumass with his retard sandwich... i just can't believe it.
dezertbill Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 No way Ray drops to 50. Â 2nd day? Maybe. But not 50.
Mark80 Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 (edited) I think he'll fall and be available now at 50. Sounds to me like he'll be in the drug program upon entering the league. Teams do not want to waste such a high pick on guys who are already on the drug plan, not to mention ones who depend on their speed and explosiveness to be effective who are coming into the league with a foot issue. With that being said, if he is there I would jump all over him. Edited April 28, 2015 by Mark80
ALF Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 No way he falls to 50 , if he did I would take him for sure.
BillsCelticsAngelsBama Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 (edited) Medical "Mary" for his foot boo-boo ?? Or, "I was in an elevator with R. Gregory and .... damn" Edited April 28, 2015 by MOVALLEYRANDY
nucci Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 These feet problems might simply be an ene but pot addiction lingers. Pot is not addicting and if alcohol and tobacco are legal marijuana should be also... I wouldn't not draft a player because he tested positive for pot.

I wouldn't not draft a player because he tested positive for pot. Yeah, they don't fall because they smoked pot. They fall because they were dumb enough to get caught, and if they get caught once they are in the league then they aren't going to be on the field.
