BringBackFergy Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 how bout the bills for years always scheduling a preseason game during erie county fair week......pretty sneaky themselves..... No comparison: Candy apples, cotton candy, and overpriced Philly cheese steaks at the Fair vs. BBQ ribs, brisket, cornbread, beans, cold beer and hot women.......the NFL knew what they were doing. Distractions abound. Bastards!!
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 (edited) i would go with miami with those 4 good AFC teams late Jets catch a break with that Giants game being one of their 8 "away" games. Dolphins catch a break of having their last 5 all in nice weather or a dome. the NYETS 3 of 5 on the road. the Cheaters 3 of 5 on the road but (or) and division foes Miami - 4 of 5 games at home even though they play good teams Edited April 22, 2015 by BillsFan-4-Ever
IDBillzFan Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Why would you think the Jets/Oakland game is going to be a good one? There 2 of the worst teams in the league. I love watching the game, and when I'm not watching the Bills, I like watching our divisional foes. Many times their games are on while ours is on, so I can't give them a concentrated watch. This game will be good because it's a divisional foe who has difficulty crossing the country to beat a sub-par team. It gives me something to cheer for. 2nd nice Avatar, how did you not get suspended for that. I made one little snide comment about Graham about 5 years ago & got suspended for a year. New mods. Some of the old mods back then were pretty touchy, and as Dennis Miller would say, if their skin were any thinner they'd need a reservoir tip. They're all but gone now, and in fairness, if you're going to let people pick on Jerry Sullivan, you can't suddenly not afford them the same leniency with a guy whose favorite part of reporting on the Bills is pointing out all their failures to piss off the fans.
PromoTheRobot Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Remember how everyone said the Bills were going to be destroyed by the Bears last year? I do.
CountryCletus Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Mead, why might you miss it? I can't believe you are going to entrust the Strombolis to FF again! Ll
Chuck Wagon Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Remember how everyone said the Bills were going to be destroyed by the Bears last year? I do. The Colts game reminds me a lot of the Bears game. If Doug was able to motivate that, imagine what Rex will be able to do with 4 months of telling guys no one believes they've got a shot in their home opener.
FluffHead Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Remember how everyone said the Bills were going to be destroyed by the Bears last year? I do. Even I didn't expect Jay Cutler to test Kyle Williams Island
YoloinOhio Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Remember how everyone said the Bills were going to be destroyed by the Bears last year? I do.Ej was clutch

I don't think players will need motivation to get the season started...or to play any game for that matter
thronethinker Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Just picked up 2 tickets section 110 row 8 for the Colts opener. Flying up from Fl.
metzelaars_lives Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I said compulsive. I didn't say successful... Although I've had some really good seasons, it's been largely pointless for me to get up at 3am on Saturday mornings and drive five hours to the Palms Casino in Las Vegas... OR make the shorter, but riskier trip to Mexico with hundreds of dollars in my pocket.. I've tried some offshore, but had problems collecting when I won... I've slowed down quite a bit, but it's not all gone yet... Btw, That -3 is sounding REALLY good... I know it's my team, but... I question your ability to predict the spread as I think it'll actually be closer to a pick em by kickoff but I would never question your ability to win. Also try bovada. I was up at the end of the year and I had a check in the mail less than a week later.I'm really starting to think the NFL is rigged and anti-Bills. Take a look at the Tennessee game. I know, I know, it's the Titans....BUT - http://thenashvilleoktoberfest.com/ The Nashville Oktoberfest is scheduled October 9-11. Do you think it is strictly by chance that they scheduled the Bills to arrive for the game Saturday night in the midst of a rowdy party?? Now factor in southern ribs, cornbread, BBQ and all the fixins (not to mention cold brew) and we have the makings of a Music City Meltdown. To schedule the Bills IN Tennessee during Oktoberfest is intentional. The schedule makers are a slick bunch. I call bull ****. Pisses me off.Well done sir.
What a Tuel Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 (edited) the first couple games are usually the least indicative of the team's season. Both QBs looked like crap early on last year. OLs still gelling, etc. Not to say our own OL and Qb won't look shaky out of the gate, but the Bills kind of are assuming that. So the rest of our roster is set up better than either of theirs, which depend a lot in their QBs to succeed. Both of those teams are strong obviously, but it sure helps to get them early and at home imo. I think MNF at pats is a L. Pats have some insane home win streak on mnf. *although Rex was a blocked FG from beating them on TNF at Foxboro last year with that crap jets roster. Couldn't agree more. I do have the Pats MNF game marked as a loss. I may or may not have the rest marked as W's. I know it's crazy, but for every game I can find a justifiable reason why said team is worse this season, or that we beat comparable teams last year, and we've only gotten better. Just couldn't predict the loss.... Edited April 22, 2015 by What a Tuel
Chuck Wagon Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I don't think players will need motivation to get the season started...or to play any game for that matter For the Bills this year, likely no, almost every single guy has a chip on his shoulder for some reason or another. I think players are truly motivated for 2 games in the regular season - to get the first win (no one wants to go 0-16) and to clinch the playoffs. If you are on a garbage team headed for 3-13 or 4-12 season usually the only thing motivating guys is continuing their careers or hitting contract incentives.
PromoTheRobot Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 (edited) Ej was clutchClutch or not, everyone was convinced the Bears were unbeatable. Kind of like that fairly soft Colts team. Edited April 22, 2015 by PromoTheRobot
Wayne Cubed Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Clutch or not, everyone was convinced the Bears were unbeatable. Kind of like that fairly soft Colts team. Juggernaut offense was the term used a lot. How were the Bills going to stop Marshall, Jeffery, Bennett and Forte?
Canadian Bills Fan Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Hey at least we get a MNF game this year! CBF
YoloinOhio Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Clutch or not, everyone was convinced the Bears were unbeatable. Kind of like that fairly soft Colts team.i agree with you. Bears were overhyped though. They were coming off of a no playoff 8-8 season and schwartz knew cutler well. Colts are a better team overall, but we have them at home. Great matchup imo.
truth on hold Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Looks pretty tough. Somehow how that so-called easy opponent list doesnt look so easy when you see the schedule
BuffaloBaumer Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Anyone have any insight to a fun 4 star hotel in Nashville? Good location, scene, etc...
