\GoBillsInDallas/
Since we all had to live through the Sabres' season, we can all relate to this story: http://finance.yahoo.com/news/sixers-let-players-coach-heat-132500288.html Summary: Philadelphia previously acquired a 2015 conditional first-round pick from the Miami Heat in a trade If Miami finishes in the bottom 10 for 2015, they keep the pick. If not, Philadelphia gets the pick Both teams were already eliminated from the playoffs They played each other in the last game of the season last night If Philadelphia loses and Miami wins, Miami finishes 11th overall and Philadelphia gets the pick If Philadelphia wins and Miami loses, Miami finishes 10th overall and Miami gets the pick Check out how both teams tried to lose the game LOL
Cugalabanza
It's pretty ugly when there's incentive to lose. The big European soccer leagues have their own problems, but this is one thing they get right. Teams always have something to play for. If you finish in the bottom three of the English Premier League, you get relegated to the next league down. I think it would be cool to see this in major U.S. sports, but It'll probably never happen. dhg
Funny how in the end the result didn't make any difference because of the Nets-Magic game. Side note since I don't pay attention to the NBA is how far Miami fell off without Lebron. Wow. Edited April 16, 2015 by dhg
