So he says OL would be good there at 50 but of the players he lists that were taken at 50 only one of them was an OLineman.

He could have developed the thought a bit more by listing OLinemen where we're taken AROUND #50 that had successful NFL careers.

Thanks for doing that. Glenn, Franklin and Hudson jump out to me. If we could get a guy like that I'd be thrilled. Even Mewhort - who was a reach imo at that spot - can play multiple positions and started all year for the Colts as a rookie.

Mike Adams was a big time reach by the Steelers. Wisniewski has been good enough to say I'd be happy with that guy (or we could just sign him since he is available, lol)

If we signed Wisnewski I would immediately feel better about the line. He's gotta be asking for Mike Pouncy level money the way he keeps bouncing around visiting teams.

There will be impact players available with both our picks, the question is if we land them. With Wisnewski aboard, I would be happy to go BPA twice and take a developmental lineman in our later picks.

Well, Andy Levitre was selected at #51 in 2009. And as I am sure you recall, they traded up to select him.

He seems to have lost quite a bit after he left, but he played extremely well here and was a fantastic draft selection.

he has visited about 25 percent of the league I think without an offer. Either he has an injury issue or he is pricing himself too high. Probably the latter. After the draft teams will know more exactly what they need and might be more willing to pay, but since he's not an exceptional player they may want to see if they can grab a OL in the draft who could be just as good. Though I agree, he would be a nice add. Edited by YoloinOhio

Osemele...one of the best guards in the league.

We've seen some guards make it to the third that have been starters the past couple years. Larry Warford and Gabe Jackson come to mind.

kiko, woods, glenn, aaron williams, troupe...whoops, wood, byrd, levitre(51), ...left out cyrus but we've been very good drafting in the second. I'm confident we can get a day one starter.
