YoloinOhio Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 (edited) Vine below @MatthewWGR: Rex Ryan throwing out the first pitch at the Bisons' opener https://t.co/Q68izQ9WcG Juuust a bit outside... Good form though Edited April 9, 2015 by YoloinOhio
John from Riverside Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 You can totally tell his demeanor as a Defensive Coach.....that would have beaned the batter
Metal Man Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Glad to see he tried it from the rubber. Decent toss considering that.
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Glad to see he tried it from the rubber. Decent toss considering that. I can't stand when grown men don't do that. Politics aside, my dad and I agree that atleast Obama throws (granted, like a girl) from the mound.
elroy16 Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 That wasn't too bad. Decent form, nice leg kick, and got it to the catcher. Waaaaay better than Jim Jefferies. Ironically, he made an episode about it for his show Legit, which is fantastic by the way. If anyone here is a fan of Always Sunny, Archer, Arrested Development, etc., I think you'd really like Legit. https://youtu.be/PoWNGKxlzT8?t=21
YoloinOhio Posted April 9, 2015 Author Posted April 9, 2015 @pecrawleynfl: From the rosin bag to the fake pick off, great showing by Rex Ryan delivering this @BuffaloBisons first pitch. WATCH: http://t.co/72QKnKjOuj
YoloinOhio Posted April 10, 2015 Author Posted April 10, 2015 Gotta love the Bisons jersey and Bills sweats!
ChevyVanMiller Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 (edited) As someone who has done it ( and got it to the catcher ) it's a lot more nerve-racking than it appears once you get on the mound. Rex acquitted himself quite well. On a side note: has any coach ever come into Buffalo and immersed and ingrained himself into the culture more than Rex has? He seems to have a deep and profound respect for the history of the Bills and WNY in general. Makes it pretty hard not to love the guy before he's coached even so much as a preseason game. Rex has always been like that. Did it in NYC too. Hard not to like the guy. I always liked him when he was with the Jets, just didn't like the team. He was great in That's My Boy with Adam Sandler. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZzvwyMqO2ak

Gugny Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Who is that? That is our blind former Governor, David Paterson.
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 That is our blind former Governor, David Paterson. HA! He threw it out for the Bisons a few years ago. He got booed.
