BigBuff423 Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 There has never been an off-season like this one in Bills history, period. +1
BuffaloHokie13 Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 I know that. That's why I asked if BuffaloHokie meant that when he credited ownership. No, I meant the opt out clause was literally dependent on a change of ownership. Instead of taking, oh I don't know, every single opportunity you have to subtly express your dislike of Ralph Wilson, why don't you just save yourself the trouble and start a new post that says something like, "The Bills Got Better When Ralph Died." I would say that if I thought it, but I don't. The Bills did get better when the Pegula Family purchased them though.
Beerball Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Again, this comes back to ownership. The new ownership enabled Moron's opt out clause IIRC Contract was signed under old ownership with an eye towards new ownership.
PromoTheRobot Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Why would he mean something that made no sense?Maybe not everyone has your command of the obvious?
FireChan Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Maybe not everyone has your command of the obvious? They should improve on that.
eball Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 By enabled you mean being willing to pay $4MM to let Coaching Jesus walk? Absolutely. Coaching Jesus -- lol, that might stick. A lot better than Saint Doug.
billsfan_34 Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Re-signing spikes would be a nice little cherry on top!
Not at the table Karlos Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 No one here was as sympathetic to Rex's performance in NYJ as they are now that he's our HC. I get that though... I was. He has been my favorite coach for a long time. Took a lot of crap on another board defending him and talking him up while he was with the jets. He does have to make some improvements as a HC and I hope he has learned from the mistakes he has made. The biggest difference between this year and last is that everyone is on the same page working towards a shared idea of how a team should be built. We don't have St. Douglas/canthackett and their 3 play offensive playbook. We have coaches on both sides of the ball that have been in the NFL. We have owners that share a cry with Percy. Coaching Jesus -- lol, that might stick. A lot better than Saint Doug. coaching Jesus is the reason Chick-fil-A is closed on sundays. Just another reason to hate him
Green Lightning Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Yes the Bills have perennially led the league in giving out guaranteed $, keeping core players, and making blockbuster trades for established superstars. Nothing to see here people, move on. Same old BS, so done with this team!!!!! Nicely done.
Maddog69 Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 The best part about this offseason, on top of all of the exciting player moves, is that I no longer have to worry about the Bills leaving Buffalo. That hung over me like a dark cloud for as long as I can remember. With that gone, everything else is gravy. The future of the team looks very promising and whatever the future brings, it will bring it right here in Western New York so my son and I can witness it together.
