I am thinking of now investing in a popover pan-- the muffin pans are fine but you don't get nearly the huge pop up.yes, get one. They are great. We use ours auite a bit when we have friends over. The other trick (depending on the recipe) is start with a cold/unheated oven. For some reason, the mixture heats slowly and then just takes off after ten minutes. Works well.
