So was it both or Josina was wrong?

@viccarucci: Sammy Watkins suffered a slight tear in his labrum & #Bills WR underwent surgery around Super Bowl time, according to an NFL source.

You have a labrum in your femoral joint.

This young man, Sammy Watkins, just like every player will face some type of ailment. He's beyond capable to recover from this!

He lifts and does other various workouts almost everyday i bet. The doc's got 'em!

No biggie. I had major back surgery in October and I'm 100% now and have been for a couple of months. I'm also about to turn 54 and no athlete. He'll be fine.

It's not like he had hip replacement.

But you bitched about it every day for about a year.

He could've. I assumed he didn't have 2 separate surgeries/issues.

no I think if it was shoulder (the most commonly reported labrum injury from what I've seen) he would have been more specific considering the earlier hip report

That is not good news. Hip surgery usually robs some of the speed and that was one of his greatest assets. We'll have to wait and see how he looks I guess.

This ain't 1970. This is nothing.

Really? You know what year it is. Complications from any kind of surgery still can and do occur. I said let's wait and see. Hoping for the best, but it ain't guaranteed.
