Chef Jim Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 (edited) Depends on what you're looking for. I cooked professionally for 25 years and worked at some great places. My specialties: Classic French Bistro fare. Mostly slow braises like blanquette de veau, beef bourguignon, cassoulet, coq au vin. Northern Italian Homemade cheeses and cured meats Anything from scratch (pasta, ravioli, sauces, soups, stews) Impromptu meals from the garden or farmers market Asian, and healthy ****? I ain't your guy. I can do them just not my forte. Sweet mother of god. Fired eggs, pasta, and pickle juice. I thought squirrel brains and eggs was bad. Actually had it's own wiki page for a short bit. Edited April 3, 2015 by Chef Jim

Jobu Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Seriously?!?!? Seriously. I am not sure how you could possibly cook noodles for a friggin hour in a frying pan.
Chef Jim Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Seriously. I am not sure how you could possibly cook noodles for a friggin hour in a frying pan. No he said it takes that long because you have to boil the noodles.
Jobu Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 http://www.cooks.com/recipe/pn4sz9va/fried-macaroni.html I think the base of the recipe is probably legit. Don't know about the pickle juice. Although I do like Dill pickle chips.
Gugny Posted April 3, 2015 Author Posted April 3, 2015 I figure at post #32, it's safe to say the Show Me The Baby is out of contention.
BringBackFergy Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Dog90210 made a mean bag of Cool Ranch Doritos (when his mom bought them once in awhile)

Chef Jim Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 I think if you all saw the food pics on my Facebook page I'd be the hands down winner.

boyst Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 until someone actually dethrones him - he still is the king. i think for the home opener someone should cook up some rettata ... you know what? I say we do this Lets all chip in to fly Chef out. For this he will have to cook up the recipe he created the name of - and I am sure with his skills it might actually taste good. I'd put $20 in to the pot to make it happen.

Am I able to alter the recipe at all?
