Alphadawg7 Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Kurt Warner can not hold a candle to Favre and his accomplishments. Hell Warner could not beat out Eli Manning for a starting job. The middle of Warner's career is like a graveyard. I would still take Favre over the grocery bagger. None of this matters as it was an obvious April Fools joke...but for the sake of argument. I would take Kurt Warner any time over Farve or Peyton for the Playoffs. Kurt has been one of the most clutch playoff QBs in NFL history with several records to boot. Farve was a stats machine as is Peyton, but Kurt was not only prolific in stats, he also won and played his best in the playoffs. Favre is over rated because of how long he played and his career totals while Kurt Warner is grossly under rated because of the length of his career. Brett played much longer than Kurt, yet Kurt has more SB appearances, same amount of Championships, and a much better winning percentage. Not to mention, the three most passing yards in SB history are all 3 of Kurts appearances. In fact, Kurt owns many passing records in the NFL that have nothing to do with length of career, where most of Bretts are about totals because he played so long and at a high level. Kurt Warner is the guy I want leading my team in the post season over Farve and Peyton. All that being said, BOTH are too old and all of it was a very obvious April Fools joke anyway.
