YoloinOhio Posted April 4, 2015 Author Posted April 4, 2015 It is certainly a fair question in lieu of the fact that his former OL coach is here now. He probably saw more of Garza's play last year than anyone (including Garza). He must see something...im guessing he thinks he could be a positive influence to the young guys on the line here, in some capacity.
HOUSE Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Move HOUSE's Mother-in-law to Guard! She has a low center of gravity and can take on two local drunks at one time. She threw me out the window once....with one hand
Kirby Jackson Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 De La Puente is much better at this point of his career then Garza. He's 6 yrs younger then Garza and he was rated 7th, 12th and 16th amongst centers the past 3 seasons according to PFF ratings. He would come cheap also. I wonder why there hasn't been any interest from the a Bills considering the connection to Kromer. Btw De La Puente is also known for being a fantastic run blocker.I once shared an Easter Dinner with Brian De La Puente and Jed Collins at Garrett Hartley's house (he used to be a good friend when he was in NOLA). That really has nothing to do with anything but it is Good Friday so I figured that I would share. He was a really nice guy. At any rate I am not overly excited about any of those guys. I want a vet but I want a top end vet. I would just assume Urbik fill the back up role on the interior. If the Bills view one of these guys as an upgrade by all means. I can't imagine that they would have let them get to this point in FA if they thought these guys were the answer. The Bills should deal a late round pick for someone like Mathis. Get me a top end guard, develop the young guys and use Urbik as your swing guy. In addition, draft a tackle and your OL should be fine.
