17 Josh Allen Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Guys it's pretty obvious that the Bills will be drafting a QB, They are a QB needy team. plus look at all the pre-draft visits and private work outs. 2/3 rds of them have been QB's. it's pretty common knowledge that most of the Bills draft picks they are getting ready to make will come off the list below. Just like in past years. my prediction is it will be Bryce Petty with pick # 50 in the 2nd Round. I am all for it. I think Petty is the best QB in this draft class Here's a roundup of where the Bills have been and who they have visited with. This list will be updated leading up to draft night. >>Also read: Full list of Buffalo Bills' draft picks NFL Scouting Combine Blake Bell, TE, Oklahoma Bryan Bennett, QB, Southeastern Louisiana Anthony Boone, QB, Duke Brandon Bridge, QB, South Alabama Shane Carden, QB, East Carolina Cody Fajardo, QB, Nevada Connor Halliday, QB, Washington State Brett Hundley, QB, UCLA David Johnson, RB, Northern Iowa Jerry Lovelocke, QB, Prairie View A&M Sean Mannion, QB, Oregon State Ali Marpet, G/OT, Hobart Nick Marshall, QB/DB Auburn Bryce Petty, QB, Baylor Garrett Grayson, QB, Colorado State Blake Sims, QB, Alabama Clive Walford, TE, Miami All-Star Game Aaron Ripkowski, FB, Oklahoma B.J. Dibs Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 I highly doubt this team goes with a raw rookie behind center this year. Not the way it's stacked right now. But I guess stranger things have happened. This is how I am seeing thing as well. With the obvious "win now" atitude they have displayed so far this off-season it is hard to imagine that they will throw it away by starting a rookie QB. 2nd round QBs are never plug and play guys.....hell, #1 overall QBs are never plug and play guys. As our only two real needs are QB and OL, and the fact that 2nd round OL draftees have the possibility of comming straight in and playing decently.....coupled with the concept that Incognito is only on a one year deal.....I think it would be extraordinary if we drafted a QB in the 2nd, let alone have him become the starter.
Rockinon Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 The Bills are not going to pick a QB that may not start. The objective with their first pick is to get someone so good that they can start regardless of position. Whaley's comments about staying true to your board have me thinking BPA regardless of position.
