I keep seeing how Tampa should draft Winston because Jimbo Fisher runs a pro style offense and is the most NFL

ready. I disagree. Off the field issues aside this is how Jimbo Fisher's former Qb's careers have fared in the NFL thus far, EJ is not in good company.

This draft doesn't really have any true #1s, maybe Tampa can defer to next year.

Consistency of draft talent is an issue for the league. Tampa is getting screwed.

No, I don't believe he warrants the first pick.

Imo

I'd be considering both Winston and Mariota if I was sitting there with the #1 as GM of the Buccs. I think they are the best Quarterback draft prospects since Andrew Luck. I don't think the gap between the two is as big as some do... but Quarterbacks get taken early. I still believe they are both top 5 picks.

Well hes got a great arm, super quick release that will do well in the NFL. But does he have the leadership qualities? Can he carry a team like an Andrew luck? Is he competitive enough? That said if you need a QB and hes there where ever you're drafting, of course you take him

Most sure thing since Andrew Luck. He will be the starter in Tampa for a long time

That's not really saying much as this will only be the 3rd draft since Luck was drafted. Effectively it is saying he is a better prospect than Bortles.

I get why people are concerned, but he goes #1, as he should. I'd take him in a heart beat. Maybe a slightly fluttering heart beat, but I'd do it. He plays a position some teams find to be important, and the upside is huge.

They should pair McCoy with Leonard Williams, build up their Oline and grab one of Petty / Grayson / Hundley / Mannion to fight for the job with Glennon. They are going to be garbage next year anyway and will again find themselves in position to take a top QB prospect, only this time without the red flags.

Weak draft class, Bucs need a QB, so I say yes. Doesn't mean he'll pan out though.

And this is where my problem is. They have an obvious need for QB but does that mean they need to draft a question mark or would they be better off going with another player with top 10 grade that will have an immediate impact.

I honestly don't see the appeal of him, or Mariota for that matter, but they will both go in the first round because the QB class is weaker than ever.

So to answer the question, no he's not worth the #1 pick but he probably will be.
