GunnerBill Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 I'd be considering both Winston and Mariota if I was sitting there with the #1 as GM of the Buccs. I think they are the best Quarterback draft prospects since Andrew Luck. I don't think the gap between the two is as big as some do... but Quarterbacks get taken early. I still believe they are both top 5 picks.

Augie Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 I get why people are concerned, but he goes #1, as he should. I'd take him in a heart beat. Maybe a slightly fluttering heart beat, but I'd do it. He plays a position some teams find to be important, and the upside is huge.

They are going to be garbage next year anyway and will again find themselves in position to take a top QB prospect, only this time without the red flags.

They have an obvious need for QB but does that mean they need to draft a question mark or would they be better off going with another player with top 10 grade that will have an immediate impact. I honestly don't see the appeal of him, or Mariota for that matter, but they will both go in the first round because the QB class is weaker than ever. So to answer the question, no he's not worth the #1 pick but he probably will be.
