YoloinOhio Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 (edited) @viccarucci: New slogan among #Bills' hierarchy: "One ego, one goal." http://t.co/v21sQwk46z Edited March 31, 2015 by YoloinOhio
Kelly the Dog Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 It really should be, "One ego... one goal... one embarrassingly lame slogan."
Dibs Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Marrone had the same slogan when he was will the Bills.
Kirby Jackson Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Marrone had the same slogan when he was will the Bills.
reddogblitz Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 This is the obvious choice: https://youtu.be/p3-eavMSBnk
Rockinon Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 It's a good article and not a public slogan. Just how they interact within the organization together.
Leroi Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 A direct slap in the face to Marrone. This front office, while making a lot of good moves seems to be a bit spiteful and overly sensitive. The lose of Marrone hurt a lot more than many know. It shocked the FO, however, in turn, made them stronger. OBD may have room to mature but they are doing a great job. Imo

Imo Tough not to be spiteful and overly sensitive. They hired their guy and he bolts with no warning after 1 year, leaving them in a lurch with a new owner who already would be tempted to clean house and bring in his own people.

He had an option in his contract. Do you think Whaley was unaware of that?
Jauronimo Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 It really should be, "One ego... one goal... one embarrassingly lame slogan." I would love to see what got left on the shop room floor if this is the winner. "One Da'Ricktion" "Two Bills, One Bowl"
Dorkington Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 "This is the year, no seriously, for reals! We mean it!"

It is tough, but not ideal behavior, if this, in fact is a low blow to Marrone. Imo

BringBackFergy Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 "2015 Buffalo Bills...Feel free to inspect our balls"
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 He had an option in his contract. Do you think Whaley was unaware of that? I think the purpose behind the option was a new owner who would be tempted to clean house. Option would give marrone protection. But they got a new owner who liked marrone and wasn't going to clean house. I don't think they envisioned him exercising the option under those circumstances and just to cash in and try to find something better. I bet there was a lot of bitterness and feelings of betrayal.
Lurker Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 How about..."putting our best foot forward." I'm sure Rex would be on board with that....

I just look at how Marrone and Whaley were on such different wavelengths in 2014, and I just don't know how bitter you could feel about someone you didn't really agree with moving on.
