#34fan Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 In a word... Stud. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f05pZn-Fi1s The perfect, and I mean PERFECT compliment to McCoy... I love me some Fredex, but it's over, and we all know it. Give Freddy a sun-visor, a coaching polo, and let's call it a career. J-Rob is what's next!

He reminds me of vintage Infredible Hulk on that long run by eluding 6 defenders. so much like Fjax's 80 yard TD against the gaints. He is slow af, but he could certainly stiff arm chris conte into oblivion. Good vision and hands too it seems. Edited March 29, 2015 by Uffalo Ills
YoloinOhio Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Isn't this the kid who lived in his car at one point? I remember a story about him being homeless.
Kirby Jackson Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Isn't this the kid who lived in his car at one point? I remember a story about him being homeless. He is. I have a friend that is a diehard Mississippi State fan (actually his wedding was last night) and he doesn't think that he is an NFL back. I saw them 6-7 times this year and thought that he had a chance. I wouldn't mind using a 6th or 7th on him. He's not worth more than that.

Buffaloed in Pa Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 My son likes him . I like Bryce. Check out Bryces Highlights on youtube. Pretty good in the little bit he got to play, behind Shady.
Lurker Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 (edited) 4.70 forty time and not that athletic...nice story, but a real long shot. http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/josh-robinson?id=2552591 http://www.forwhomthecowbelltolls.com/2015/2/22/8082483/mississippi-state-bulldogs-josh-robinson-nfl-combine-results On the other hand, if you want to draft a Freddie clone, here's your guy (although it would have to be the third round pick--and given that Whaley said he expects that guy to be a contributor right away, not a good fit given the needs elsewhere--oh well, I think this guy would be great in Roman's offense): http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000446050/article/mayock-northern-iowas-david-johnson-similar-to-charles-sims http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1137327/david-johnson http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-senior-bowl/0ap3000000462773/Reese-s-Senior-Bowl-Johnson-s-19-yard-touchdown-run Edited March 29, 2015 by Lurker
#34fan Posted March 29, 2015 Author Posted March 29, 2015 (edited) Agree There's not a whole lot of film out there on Josh, but as someone who watches a TON of college ball, (especially SEC) I can tell you that he is more NFL ready than Gurley, Gordon, or Ameer Abdullah.... He's not that fast... I get it.... But he's not that kind of back! He catches the ball extremely well, turns on a dime, picks up the blitz... J-Rob doesn't have a ton of top-end speed, but has tremendous burst once he hits the hole... And he's SUPER hard to bring down once he gets a head of steam. There was a brief issue with fumbling... IMO, not a major one... Get this kid behind a decent O-line, and you've got a home-run threat every time he carries it... You could do alot worse with a 5th or 6th round pick. boyst Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 i'd rather keep what we have and not waste assets of the draft on the guy. if he becomes an udfa let him battle for it with brown.

I probably watch 3 SEC games a week and saw a ton of him. I like his story and Robinson as a college player. As a late round pick he may make someone's roster. I just don't see a place for him on the Bills.
