GG Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Think again Apparently, this quote amounts to tampering according to Jets: We thought we made a very competitive offer, and I speak as a fan of the New England Patriots, we wanted to keep him, we wanted him in our system. And we have certain disciplines. We had hoped it worked out. It didn't," Kraft said from the NFL Annual Meeting in Phoenix. "He's a great player. The fan in me wishes he were still with us."
DC Tom Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 As much as I hate anything Pats...what the !@#$? How is talking about your previous relationship with a player tampering with his current contract? I hate Kraft...but Woody Johnson is an absolute ass.
Chuck Wagon Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Didn't the Pats file tampering charges against Woody and the Jets over Revis a few months ago? I say just take away both of their 1st round picks.
Guffalo Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 I say just take away both of their 1st round picks. And award them to Buffalo for not saying anything about Revis
Uffalo Ills Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 And award them to Buffalo for not saying anything about Revis +1
NoSaint Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 i do hope the nfl blows this off, as it shouldnt be out of bounds to wish a guy well a couple weeks after he leaves. if he said the same about revis during a holdout, as the jets were entering contract negotiations for a resigning, etc... sure, it could be painted differently but today? its just pettiness.
buffalo2218 Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 And award them to Buffalo for not saying anything about Revis At least award 1 to Buffalo after investigating Woody touting Marrone's horn after he quit
Beef Jerky Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 The NFL will be handing out punishments for all these wrong doings. Should be fun to watch, I can't wait to see what the Browns lose.
