jletha Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 My brother works valet at the Lafayette in downtown Buffalo and he told me that Brandon Spikes is there right now. Maybe there are negotiations ongoing.
Ittakestime Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Percy Harvin is coming in tomorrow to get things wrapped up with contract and such early next week. Spikes is probably here to show him some things to do and where to live. They are boys.

bladiebla Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Woot would love to have his leadership and drive back on the team!
Ittakestime Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 ...because Spikes, in one year of service has set roots in Buffalo and would be expected to be hanging around in March? Knows more about city than Percy. Clay is coming in tonight (flight from Boca around 8:30) and Percy should be in sometime tomorrow.
EmotionallyUnstable Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Interesting stuff. Patience grasshopper?
FluffHead Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Really hope they find a way to bring spikes back
Jamie Nails Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 I think/hope he's going to resign here. His leadership is being written off by a lot of people. While not an every down LB, he's a valuable piece of the puzzle.
Lurker Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Spikes physicality early in the season helped set the tone last year, IMO. Even if he's a two-down player, I'd like to see him back so that attitude carries over into 2015...

Ontario51 Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Spikes brings attitude and makes important stops or at least he has in the past. He is an important player.
It's in My Blood Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 This would be fantastic. Love the attitude he brings. I think it should/will get done.
NoSaint Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 ...because Spikes, in one year of service has set roots in Buffalo and would be expected to be hanging around in March? It wouldn't be the craziest thing if a close friends going to buffalo that he may come up to join the party for a couple days
billsfan89 Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 A lot of people want Spikes back. The Team has a need for MLB's and Spikes played well last year in a 1-2 down role. Early downs run stuffing MLB who brings an element of physicality is a good thing to have esp at a modest price.
BuffaninATL Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 ...because Spikes, in one year of service has set roots in Buffalo and would be expected to be hanging around in March? Or perhaps, less cynically, he has a common bond with another Gator and just wants to make his homey feel welcome?
