EmotionallyUnstable
i still think they add another blocking TE Same. A mid to late round pick. The OSU TE would be interesting. Manhurtz is PS eligible.
NoSaint
So Mike Rodak's ONE contribution to the Clay story these past few days (scanning the transaction wire and declaring that he won't be signed today) was 100% wrong. I hate to defend him but if this was signed after 4 it isn't processed until tomorrow, right?

EmotionallyUnstable
yes - Heurmann has basically been blocking for this type of offense for 4 yrs. He also offers a big bodied, goal line receiving threat. 2 birds Edited March 18, 2015 by AlwaysBilleve
NoSaint
2012 NFL salary cap set at $120.6 million Big difference this year 155? And of course, comparing two random years in long term contracts is pointless
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch
Is that good or would it be better to not be able to re-negotiate over the first two years as that would also prevent Miami from doing anything, thus assuring they are stuck with this large cap hit for two season? I think they can renegotiate after one year to lessen their cap hit but he doesn't have to agree to it at all. The Bills offered him a lot more over the four years. There's no way they match this IMO. It's a lot of money but worth it. I love the guy. Watkins, Woods, Harvin, McCoy and Clay. Crazy.

YoloinOhio
@JaySkurski: Charles Clay's 2013 season of 69-759-6 TDs would have set or tied the #Bills' single-season record for TEs in each category.
poblano
Or maybe a more athletic OL in draft Roman used to play a lot of jumbo formations and ocasionally playaction and pass to OL(two years ago)
YoloinOhio
@salmaiorana: Offer to Clay is absurd. But this is what #Bills have to do, over pay guy like this and hope it works out. Right place right time for clay

Right place right time for clay7m per isn't THAT crazy. Several here predicted it weeks before the tag based on comps.
EmotionallyUnstable
best available OG at 50. TE in 5th. Idt it has to be a guard either. I'm curious if Roman sees Glenn or Hendersen as capable guards, and tht would open us up to take a tackle as well
Chandler#81
Lining up with Sammy, Woods, Harvin, Clay, and McCoy......a little bit of speed and quickness, eh? Day-um! Chubby-City!

Bills Fan in MD
I hate to defend him but if this was signed after 4 it isn't processed until tomorrow, right? I think you're technically right, but he phrased the tweet in such absolute and clumsy terms that he still looks foolish. "NFLs transaction wire for Tuesday is out. No Bills transactions listed, which means no Clay offer sheet or Harvin signing."
