Profitspro Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 True, but Matt Shaub would not be just an ordinary 3rd string QB he has done well in the past, maybe with the right motivation and coaching he could regain some of his lost form.
Solomon Grundy Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Should we kick the 'ol tires off this or stick with Cassel and ej...thoughts? Please no!!!
bisonbrigade Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 While I understand the sentiment, theres only so may reps to go around. Three seems to be the magic number and even then, 3rd string doesn't get too much attention. Cut Tuel sign Schaub, is that better.
Jauronimo Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Cut Tuel sign Schaub, is that better. EJ, Tyrod, Cassel, and Schaub still makes 4. So, no.
4merper4mer Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 And please tell me what exactly would make him an upgrade over Cassell If you have the Pats* Jets or Fish defense in fantasy football?
ExWNYer Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 This offense is going to need a QB who can minimize INTs. Schaub is a turnover machine.
FireChan Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 EJ, Tyrod, Cassel, and Schaub still makes 4. So, no. Are teams not allowed to bring guys in for tryouts, separately?
nucci Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 We should absolutely kick the tires on him. There was a time that pundits were using the term, "elite," with him. And, it wasn't that long ago. In fact, his numbers for 2012 were pretty damn good. I say, lets fill the room, and kick out those we like the least. It was long enough.
eball Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Even when Schaub was arguably "good" I was not a fan. Noodle arm, tends to play small in large situations. I don't see that he brings appreciable competition or upside.
Nervous Guy Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Are teams not allowed to bring guys in for tryouts, separately? It would appear so, I think I saw a headline yesterday that the eagles were working out Tebow. Yikes!
nucci Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I swear no one here watches any football besides the Bills games. Has anyone seen Schaub play the last few years? There are reasons why the Texans got rid of him...there are reasons he can't make the Raiders....Stop looking at the name and look at the player.
Beef Jerky Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 (edited) EJ, Tyrod, Cassel, and Schaub still makes 4. So, no. I hope you know the Bills are going into training with AT LEAST 4 QBs. Edited March 17, 2015 by Beef Jerky
mikemac2001 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I hope you know the Bills are going into camp with AT LEAST 4 QBs. Likely someone who is ps eligible tho so tuel and another young qb
Beef Jerky Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Likely someone who is ps eligible tho so tuel and another young qb they might have 5 QBs then...
mikemac2001 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 they might have 5 QBs then... Ya but it won't be schaub
GunnerBill Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 He is done. His play dropped off a cliff all of a sudden. If you were getting the 2011, 2012 Matt Schaub then in the right scheme he is better than what is on our roster, but you are not.
Beef Jerky Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 (edited) Ya I do Yea sure whatever... Edited March 17, 2015 by Beef Jerky
Jauronimo Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Are teams not allowed to bring guys in for tryouts, separately? They sure can. Whats your point?
