eball Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Nitpicky, I know, but wouldn't that mean the odds are down rather than up?
B-Man Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Nitpicky, I know, but wouldn't that mean the odds are down rather than up? Yep. But chances of us winning the Super Bowl are UP ! .
YoloinOhio Posted March 16, 2015 Author Posted March 16, 2015 Nitpicky, I know, but wouldn't that mean the odds are down rather than up? I saw "improved" and thought odds are "up." Just changed it to say neither up nor down.
CodeMonkey Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Bad thing for Bills fan gamblers though (unless they already jumped on the 66-1 ).
Perk71 Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Dang it! I am in Vegas on the 27th this month when I will be putting in my yearly bet. Oh well, I just want them to win regardless!
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 weeks ago it was 75-1, last week after the Shady signing 45-1. now 33-1? Early 2016 Super Bowl 50 Odds For Next Season http://www.footballlocks.com/nfl_futures_odds.shtml +$7,500 (75 to 1)
Seasons1992 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I got them at 40-1 in the Venetian on 1/20/15.
CodeMonkey Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I got them at 40-1 in the Venetian on 1/20/15. With all that has happened after that, man you would be sitting pretty if the Bills had a QB!
stevestojan Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I got them at 40-1 in the Venetian on 1/20/15. Me too. My wife had a trip to Vegas and did the same for me (at the Venetian, in January). At the time, the "websites" had 75:1. She called to ask "is this still ok?" Gotta love her So I'm not sure where you find the 300:1 Panthers, etc. But I'm glad my 40:1 is now actually better than the "real" current line.
Mr. WEO Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Pegula must have put another billion on them to cut the line in half like that..

Every sports book has their own odds. yes the odds differ sit to site, I posted what I saw from The Wiz @ 75%, then I went and found a site to back it up. the odds are getting better. now the team has to execute Edited March 17, 2015 by BillsFan-4-Ever
prissythecat Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I wonder if the current odds represent some averaging based on possible QB scenarios. For instance, is there a differential if Cassel or Tyrod were to start?
birdog1960 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 for all of you that have made this bet regularly, how long has it been since the odds to win were this low? last timer i bought a ticket was prolly 10 years ago and i got 200:1.
Luxy312 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 (edited) For comparative purposes last season folks, the Bills were 100-1 odds to win the Superbowl before free agency last year and fell to 150-1 after the preseason was over. There were only 12 teams that had better than 33-1 odds to win it all by the time the regular season started. The money is clearly seeing this team make improvements. Edited for Birdog's comments: I've made this bet regularly for close to 20 years. Edited March 17, 2015 by Luxy312

Dont remember seing 33:1 in the last decade, minimum. It is likely since 98, but I'm not sure.
