Pat7s Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 I hope it goes better for him than it did Byrd in year one. Great guy, hope he does well unless he plays the Bills.
beerme1 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 FWIW I called McFadden and Moreno to dallas Tell us what he wins Johnny!
gjv001 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 I hope CJ's career turns to great. Always want to see good people do well. Good Luck CJ!!!!
Deranged Rhino Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Tell us what he wins Johnny! He wins a brand new COW!
KOKBILLS Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 I've said all along he should be used like Darren Sproles...Now Peyton has a chance to do just that...
KD in CA Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Did he get more than $4.5 million per year the Bills offered him? Did anyone ever verify that rumor? I find it hard to believe Ryan ever thought CJ could be the centerpiece of a ground-and-pound offense.
Doc Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Did anyone ever verify that rumor? I find it hard to believe Ryan ever thought CJ could be the centerpiece of a ground-and-pound offense. Even if it wasn't true, I believe his final year was for about $4.5M and he voided it.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 If Brees can't get him the ball in space, no one will.
DrDawkinstein Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Even if it wasn't true, I believe his final year was for about $4.5M and he voided it. He didnt void it, it was automatically voided when he hit certain qualifiers. Which he reached his rookie year anyways.
billsfan1959 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 I wish him the very best. He is a class act and was always an ambassador for Buffalo during his time here.
Nanker Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Good Luck CJ. May your signing there mean the 'Aints cut their guard.
Doc Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 He didnt void it, it was automatically voided when he hit certain qualifiers. Which he reached his rookie year anyways. I thought it was his option. But I still believe the Bills' offer of $4.5M/year.
Mr. WEO Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 I've said all along he should be used like Darren Sproles...Now Peyton has a chance to do just that... LOL--this is how Payton "used" Sproles... "First Sean (Payton) told me they were going to cut me. Then I find out on Twitter they're trading me. That's just not right."
bourbonboy Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 #evanswatch Saints reporter is thinking the same thing: It seems like something almost has to happen w/ Jahri Evans and his contract in next 24 hours, or there's not room for Spiller. https://twitter.com/TheSaintsBeat/status/576444060795322369
NoSaint Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 LOL--this is how Payton "used" Sproles... "First Sean (Payton) told me they were going to cut me. Then I find out on Twitter they're trading me. That's just not right." his wifes rant was impressive. she left a voodoo curse on the city. apparently an effective one. of all the things to be mad about.... i can see disappointment that you dont get to pick your spot, but expecting the team to turn down the trade offer because they had told you the plan was to cut? silly.
Dante Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 (edited) Will this free up money for more dealing? I always liked him. I think he will do great in NO. Edited March 13, 2015 by Dante
