Menendez Corruption Scandal Deepens Within Democratic Party

Recommended Posts

Bias that a group of you are ignoring menendez scandal, conspiracy would imply it's coordinated...no I don't think that

But hey I guess fox news lovers cant reply without claiming "vast conspiracy", either by the left or that left is imagining one by the right

What the !@#$ is going on in that noggin of yours?

I think everyone is in agreement that Menendez is a scumbag. The seeming lack of outrage is because, sadly, this is the norm and we've come to expect it from these turds.

OK, but I see a 10 page thread on Hillary's email practices. does anyone really think voters will care about that and it will sink her? not a chance.

So is PPP a republican strategy section or is it simply to discuss what interests some of the posters here?

If her challengers start pushing the fact that her bro got an ultra-rare mining contract from Haiti after the State Department, under Hilly, gave them billions in aid, yes it will sink her. And even if they don't, it's just another thing to add to the ever-lengthening list of reasons not to like her. And as that graph showed, Hilly's only likeable when she's not running for office.

You have to give Joe the Sandusky Proponent some credit for sticking to his anti-Jew convictions though. I believe part of the Melendez rumblings were about underage girls. Given his pro-Democrat, pro-Sandusky ramblings one would think he'd also defend Melendez, but his commitment to Jew hate is so unwavering that it has allowed him to overcome these other biases.

No one yelling about Menendez. Too much attention to Hillary. Jews still allowed to roam the earth.

Is there no justice for you?

You ARE implying it's coordinated, you jackass. You all but stated that we're all ignoring the corruption because we all agree with his stance on Israel.

So the two NJ conservatives on here are happy that Menendez is finally going to be nailed, and that's a sign of the conspiracy?

What a complete moron.

uuhhhh, last time ... I never said there was a conspiracy on the board. What I did say is bias .... yes, those are different characterizations. No matter how much a cuckoo like tom keeps trying to equate them. All I know is I came here looking for an in depth discussion of an unfolding scandal, that threatens to bring down some key democratic senators, and the core group of demo-bashers wants to discuss anything but that. Yeah I find that odd. And seems like the only kooky conspiracy theories being put out are by the repubes, both here and in DC:

Watching a GOP conspiracy theory blossom

"Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) looked a little silly when he argued Sen. Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) may facecriminal charges because he disagrees with the White House on Iranian policy. Yesterday, however, he quickly discovered he had some company among Republicans who were equally eager to appear foolish."

And I couldnt agree more with this:

"I don’t imagine GOP conspiracy theorists want my advice, but there’s a more obvious way to proceed: if a Democratic senator faces criminal charges and finds himself accused of corruption, then tie him to other Democrats and argue there’s something rotten in the party."

You find it odd that no one wants to discuss what you want to discuss? So odd, that we're all conspiring against you?

Shine on, you crazy-ass narcissistic diamond.

Speaking strictly for myself, I haven't replied to the Hillary SOS email thread because my feelings about her in general are, I'm sure, quite obvious. I don't know much about Menendez, and I'll have little to say about him as well until he is either indicted or cleared. The same goes for Hillary, despite that she's a fat-@ssed, incompetent, socialist cow, and I don't believe a single syllable that comes out of her mouth, ever.

The outrage that people feel toward public officials shouldn't be based upon the political party with which they're affiliated. An individual voter may have a high intellect, but when they base their allegiance on party affiliation alone, they stop thinking. They're the first to accuse the other party, and will do verbal back flips trying to defend the indefensible if it's 'their guy' in the hot seat, and they look like idiots in the process because they don't even realize that they're marionettes dancing on whims of those they support.

think Ive been quite clear I was talking about the right wing kooks on this board .... b-man, tom, chef, billz, dev, etc .... all go bat $%@$ over anything else related to Democrat issues, yet are all curiously mum on a hanging curve ball like this. theyre droning on about wild conspiracies that no one has mentioned, yet this investigation you acknowledge has been going on for years they claim is suddenly in reaction to Menendez's opposition to Obama's foreign policy. Guess all a corrupt demo politician bilking an entitlement program for millions has to do is lick Netanyahu's nuts and all is forgiven around here.

There's another explanation you haven't considered.

1. This thread was already 2 pages of calling you an idiot before I got to it. My will is being done, so why do I need to bother?

2. I hardly see the need to jump in and merely reiterate what's already been said. But fine, since you appear to have a need here? Menendez is a scumbag, he deserves to be punished more than what he will ultimately get, but most importantly, like Doc said: We've come to expect this.

I mean, how many scandals have there been? As I stated in the other thread: it's become clear that the only "values" the current version of the D party has are: Self-Promotion, Self-Aggrandizement, Self-Enrichment, and Power Accumulation, both personal and for the state.

And please, spare us the BS: you know damn well that there are at least 10 other ongoing scandals/questionable behavior involving D Senators/Reps, right now(see: the 4 values stated above). This WH is either aware, complicit, or actively participating in all of them. What makes this different? The WH pushed this button to make Menedez an example...ONLY because of Netanyahu.

The Dems knew full well what a scumbag he was before he came out against the stench that is B. O.

They fully supported him in his last election when he was being investigated for underage prostitution charges connected with this Tooth Dr. They could not have cared less at the time, because he was their guy. Locked arm-in-arm they supported him through it all.

But now, after he broke ranks the B.O. Injustice Department is being brought full-force against him... purely coincidence?

The Senate, in spite of its last two decades of nearly non-stop partisan imbroglio, does have a history of collegiality which does rear up from time to time. This current mess is clearly in the house of democrats, their own home. They own it lock, stock, and barrel. Let them eat their own now. They are deserving of the meal. Why should Republicans help them remove the carcass?

You are a blithering buffoon. The earlier investigation that you are referring to was started in 2006 by a guy named Chris Christie. That investigation was quietly dropped in 2011. Christie was out of DoJ, and who was in charge of DoJ? And now suddenly the probe reappeared?

You are a moron.

Conspiracy theories? I think Joe should start looking into how and why Joan Rivers died mysteriously just a week after calling B.O. a tranny and called Michelle his beard.

Hey Joe, google Larry Sinclair and get back to us about Joan.
