TheFunPolice Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I like the idea... linemen can play a bit longer than other positions
dezertbill Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I can't see giving up more than a 5th. He's 33 and has about 1-2 years left if that I can't see the Eagles wanting more than a 5th I think a 2nd is way to much and a 3rd is overpaying
FireChan Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Not sure why that matters, but yes, that would indeed be the case, just as it was for this year's conditional pick for Bryce Brown. Perhaps there's another move we'd like to make.
thebandit27 Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Perhaps there's another move we'd like to make. I guess...then again, that's the case whenever you trade any draft pick
Zac Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 (edited) edit: Nvm i found the source material and the tweet i saw took some liberties. Edited March 12, 2015 by Zac
Canadian Bills Fan Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I would forget about Clay and make this trade happen and then draft the best TE available in round 2 CBF
Canadian Bills Fan Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 (edited) I'd rather have Evans They are probably keeping him since they just traded Grubbs CBF Edited March 12, 2015 by Canadian Bills Fan
todd Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I'd offer a 5th for a guy who is going to be 34 this year. That's hella old for an NFL player, especially coming off an injury.
Big C Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 One of the best G's in the league. Getting old, though. What's the price?
VanCity Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 His contract has 2 years left. 35 is still an acceptable age for a guard. I can't think of another guard that approaches his level of play that has a HC willing to trade him. Evans is good, Mathis is excellent.
BuffalothruMyVeins Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Didn't we trade away our 5th and 7th to Minnesota for their 6th and Cassel? So that means we would have a 2nd, 3rd, and two 6ths remaining?
Kelly the Dog Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 If we get Harvin offer them Goodwin and a #5.

thebandit27 Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Didn't we trade away our 5th and 7th to Minnesota for their 6th and Cassel? So that means we would have a 2nd, 3rd, and two 6ths remaining? We traded TB's 5th in the Cassel trade, and the 7th was in 2016, so we still have our own 5th and 7th this year
Jamie Nails Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 We traded the 5th we got from Tampa and our 7th in 2016. We got a 6th back in return for Matty C. So we have a 2,3, 5, 6, 7 this year
Hapless Bills Fan Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Let's get him! Cap info: http://www.spotrac.c...es/evan-math Ian Rapoport@RapSheet42 secs43 seconds ago The #Eagles are working to trade G Evan Mathis, source said. More craziness. Oh god. Oh god. Oh god please please. Oh the excitement. Dealer Doug, paging dealer Doug! If they didn't back up a truck for Boling because they had an inkling of this I am so IN!
johnwalter Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 If Chip was really upset with the Bills leaking the Shady deal early, does he really want to trade with them again? was thinking the same thing. may have burned that bridge.
