The thread title is kind of a joke, but serious question. Two questions really. Currently, and of all time, which QB was the one that isn't/wasn't stellar, but very little mistakes, and is/was good enough to get the job done.

I'd have to say one of the 3 Hasselbecks (Matt, Tim, Trent Dilfer)

Tim Hasselbeck never did anything in the league. Matt is a good call though.

I think Krieg has the record for career fumbles.

I looked it up. He's number three.... behind Favre and Moon. He played with that giant cast on his hand with KC Chiefs. I think it covered a pin in his finger. He has to get points for that.

Stats for his career of 19 seasons are pretty good. I still think he's a good "OK QB" choice.

Edit: the pin in the hand/cast was Steve DeBerg who was mentioned later in thread.....I'm losing my mind.

it's a package deal, one is the definition of mediocrity, the next did nothing, and the 3rd won a SB

That's fair. I kinda of forgot about him. The QBs in the 90s were so much better than today's.

Brad Johnson. Buerlein seemed to be around a long time. Not sure he ever got the job done though.

Brad Johnson is a solid OK QB choice. Jay Fieldler wants a shot too.

Jay Fiedler...the very definition of Okayest.

He's more in the discussion for racisiest, drunkiest QB.

He may also be both of those things but he is certainly one of the Okayiest I've seen as well
