The Real Buffalo Joe Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 (edited) The thread title is kind of a joke, but serious question. Two questions really. Currently, and of all time, which QB was the one that isn't/wasn't stellar, but very little mistakes, and is/was good enough to get the job done. Edited March 12, 2015 by The Real Buffalo Joe
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted March 12, 2015 Author Posted March 12, 2015 Not necessarily, just won a respectable amount of games, got to the playoffs more times than not. One you could still trust to win the Super Bowl if you had to.
BuffaloHokie13 Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I'd have to say one of the 3 Hasselbecks (Matt, Tim, Trent Dilfer)
C.Biscuit97 Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Alex Smith First instinct response: Dave Krieg I think Krieg has the record for career fumbles.
Mark80 Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I'd have to say one of the 3 Hasselbecks (Matt, Tim, Trent Dilfer) Tim Hasselbeck never did anything in the league. Matt is a good call though.
BillsFanM.D. Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 (edited) I think Krieg has the record for career fumbles. I looked it up. He's number three.... behind Favre and Moon. He played with that giant cast on his hand with KC Chiefs. I think it covered a pin in his finger. He has to get points for that. Stats for his career of 19 seasons are pretty good. I still think he's a good "OK QB" choice. Edit: the pin in the hand/cast was Steve DeBerg who was mentioned later in thread.....I'm losing my mind. Edited March 12, 2015 by BillsFanM.D.

Bookie Man Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Brad Johnson. Buerlein seemed to be around a long time. Not sure he ever got the job done though.

I kinda of forgot about him. The QBs in the 90s were so much better than today's. Brad Johnson. Buerlein seemed to be around a long time. Not sure he ever got the job done though. Brad Johnson is a solid OK QB choice. Jay Fieldler wants a shot too. Edited March 12, 2015 by C.Biscuit97

PaattMaann Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Maybe not the okayiest - but belongs in the discussion - Kerry Collins
C.Biscuit97 Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Maybe not the okayiest - but belongs in the discussion - Kerry Collins He's more in the discussion for racisiest, drunkiest QB.
PaattMaann Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 He's more in the discussion for racisiest, drunkiest QB. He may also be both of those things but he is certainly one of the Okayiest I've seen as well
BillsFanM.D. Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 (edited) Danny White?? Above average QB but never could 'replace' #12. He gets overlooked. He was 62-30 in reg season as starter....and had 5-5 playoff record. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/W/WhitDa01.htm Edited March 12, 2015 by BillsFanM.D.
