ch19079
this bothered me at the start of the game. the Pats have been introduced in to the SB as a team the 3 times they have gone. now all the other teams are following in line and copying this. WHY?? we all know the eagles arnt as team oriented as the pats... and they are only doing it cus it looked good when the pats do it. all the teams now look like copy cats. Mark Vader
I understand the whole team concept, but personally I love the introduction of each player from the starting O or D. I want to hear the player's position, college, & name. Then the crowd reaction. It's great. I wish they would go back to that format.

Probably the fact that I went to see the WWE show after spending all day knocking back vodka tonics. I think being exposed to the average WWE fan knocked my IQ all the way back to the BF/JP Era range.

I thought this was some sort of league directive aimed at cutting down the showboating that was going on during the introductions.

The TEAM based approach was a key to that for NE and as long as the athletes are more deficated to winning the sport than they are to the glitz and glamour of individual entertainment they will do what they can to win. I see no problem with that and actually fully endorse that approach. Eventually, just to be different teams will do something different and if they are like the 85 Bears or the Raiders teams they will do this because some primping helps them win.
