many years ago my mother had a friend that would freak out going over the Irondequoit Bay Bridge

I envy people who can do things like that. I'd never make it. I couldn't even handle making the trip to that walkway.

I used to have to take this bridge every day. Once I got used to it it was a beautiful drive over the bay with SF in the distance.

Isn't this bridge notorious for suicide jumpers? I seem to recall a couple instances while I was living in Ra-cha-cha.

notorious? I am not sure I would go that far, but yes, people have jumped from the bridge. Some to commit suicide others for the thrill of it.

my wife's neighbor died from a jump off that bridge when they were in their teens.

I can do that kind of bridge, i can't deal with the high bridges
