Johnny Hammersticks Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Looks fairly safe now that they have fixed it up. I'm too afraid of heights though. No thanks.
BillsFanM.D. Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I watched the first two minutes of the video on the link...and was feeling sick to my stomach. I'd never make it.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 looks interesting ...... would I? I wouldn't know until I got there.
Chef Jim Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I would seeing they were tethered to the cliff. And absolutely now seeing it looks pretty safe.

BillsFan-4-Ever Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 i drove over the walt whitman bridge from philly to camden yesterday and that was almost more than i could take...i'll pass on this one many years ago my mother had a friend that would freak out going over the Irondequoit Bay Bridge
Azalin Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I envy people who can do things like that. I'd never make it. I couldn't even handle making the trip to that walkway.
Chef Jim Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 many years ago my mother had a friend that would freak out going over the Irondequoit Bay Bridge I used to have to take this bridge every day. Once I got used to it it was a beautiful drive over the bay with SF in the distance.
Johnny Hammersticks Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 many years ago my mother had a friend that would freak out going over the Irondequoit Bay Bridge Isn't this bridge notorious for suicide jumpers? I seem to recall a couple instances while I was living in Ra-cha-cha.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Isn't this bridge notorious for suicide jumpers? I seem to recall a couple instances while I was living in Ra-cha-cha. notorious? I am not sure I would go that far, but yes, people have jumped from the bridge. Some to commit suicide others for the thrill of it. my wife's neighbor died from a jump off that bridge when they were in their teens.
The Poojer Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I can do that kind of bridge, i can't deal with the high bridges I used to have to take this bridge every day. Once I got used to it it was a beautiful drive over the bay with SF in the distance.
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 When I was little, I used to get really nervous on the Grand Island bridges.
