Hapless Bills Fan Posted March 12, 2015 Share Posted March 12, 2015 I see people poking fun at the Jets taking our offense from a few years back but, wasn't our offense pretty good? I mean, we lost many of our games because we couldn't stop anyone on defense. That team knew how to score points. You give Chan Fitz, Stevie, Spiller, Marshall, and a defense, I think they will do better than most people think... And if my aunt had Balls she'd be my uncle Seriously, you're right that we lost a number of games where our offense scored points, and the D couldn't hold. But it's kind of the chicken-egg thing, we didn't have a D BECAUSE Gailey was here, he was the classic offensive coordinator promoted over his skill level to be a head coach, who didn't have the connections/talent evaluation to bring in a strong DC or the knowledge/interest to fix the ones he had.
