thebandit27 Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Don't have cap space for $14mil for two TEs Unless the guy that was tagged already agreed to terms with another team...

YoloinOhio Posted March 12, 2015 Author Posted March 12, 2015 Did he ever even make it to Cleveland today
Bleed Bills Blue Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 so much misinformation... Often deliberately so.
Peter Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I have to say that I feel sorry for the people of Cleveland. We have shared so much bad luck over the years. Our luck began to change over the past year though . . . .
GG Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Unless the guy that was tagged already agreed to terms with another team... Possibly, but timing can't work, because Browns can't sign Clay outright, so if fins sign Cameron they are still carrying Clay's tag
BillsFan130 Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 im confused, I've read everywhere that the deal is done with Cameron and the browns but you guys are saying otherwise? http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/03/12/jordan-cameron-heads-back-to-the-browns/
Kirby Jackson Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Ha ha, the Bills and Browns should collude to let Clay go back to Miami after Cameron signs. Let them tie up $15M+ in tight ends.
Andrew Son Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 I have to say that I feel sorry for the people of Cleveland. We have shared so much bad luck over the years. Our luck began to change over the past year though . . . . Well they do have the king
4BillsintheBurgh Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Wait..,, I'm trying to keep up... Is the sky falling?? Is Clay a stud or a turd??? Are we screwed or are we set??? Ugh.... Like sand through the hourglass.... your best bet is to come back Sunday, should be clear as mud then.
Saint Doug Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 This is like a roller coaster...or a soap opera. Can't tell.
Peter Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Well they do have the king They do indeed. I was happy they got him back. It was good for them and good for Lebron.
Reed83HOF Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 ProFootballTalk @ProFootballTalk 10s11 seconds ago Source confirms Dolphins are "making progress" with TE Jordan Cameron. Deal likely would result in removal of tag from TE Charles Clay.
Kelly the Dog Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 This is why Bills didn't make offer to him yet. Now they don't have to structure it crazy and allows them to sign him and still go after other guys knowing fins won't match

GG Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Ha ha, the Bills and Browns should collude to let Clay go back to Miami after Cameron signs. Let them tie up $15M+ in tight ends. They have to drop the tag as soon as they finalize Cameron, otherwise they're in cap hell. This is great for Bills because they prove to Clay he's their top target and they aren't messing with a backup plan.
Kelly the Dog Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 This also allows other teams into mix if Fins rescind tag

The Bills now do not have to worry about playing with numbers to inflate the first year and, as a result, impact our ability to sign others.
Doc Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Holy crap! Two years and $15M for Cameron? Good luck with that.
