Rubes
Ian Rapoport @RapSheet RB intrigue in PHI, but TE intrigue in MIA. #Dolphins have Jordan Cameron in, but are trying to work out a long-term deal with Charles Clay
K-9
Clay negotiating an extension with MIA. An extension of what? He's not under contract. Â GO BILLS!!!
Buffaloed in Pa
Â Indeed...I'm certain that they didn't visit with the guy for over 2 days just to "debate" making an offer. Yeah Schefter sucked me in Ranting how he would become a Bill. Sorry everybody. I usually don`t jump at that

K D
oops this will have been a big waste of time if he re-signs with Miami after all of this. i feel like we didn't get the full story of how this would play out. i thought it was we submit an offer that Miami has to match. now it's basically a free for all with Cleveland and Miami making offers
Kirby Jackson
Stick that offer in his face and do it in a way that punishes Miami. I certainly wouldn't let them sign him on their terms; I'd make them match our terms.

Chuck Wagon
I don't know if I remember a time in the last 15 years I've agreed so much with our teams front office, it really sucks to see them go after the top tier of FAs who'd fill our needs only to come up short on every one. You can't really blame it when almost everyone resigned with their team, but it's still disappointing to keep swinging and missing.

GaryPinC
knee issue pop up on physical? Â I wondered along the same lines. Something surely doesn't add up here, we all know how Buffalo does things these days. Maybe Clay really just wants to stay in Miami and this was all extra salary fluff? Is Whaley subtly trying to blow up Clay's bidding war markup?

Chuck Wagon
How are we too low on cap money? Â Â We aren't anywhere close to too low. To sign Clay we likely would have had to so something crazy to sink the rest of our cap space but it looks like that's not happening.
