Punch Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 @DraftDiamonds: I am hearing Buffalo is really interested in Charles Clay. Bills see him as a younger Vernon Davis in Greg Roman's offense
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Man, the Bills would have to do some cap magic to get him with the transition tag, while dealing with the Shady hit. I'm not saying it couldn't be done, but if Miami really wants Suh, you could make a deal that is an absolute poison pill for Miami to swallow.
JM57 Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 I'll take Gresham for a few million less. He is a better blocker and still a solid pass catcher. that's how you end up in the purgatory we've had at the position for 15 years
ALF Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 (edited) I would settle for a TE who could block, I still have hope for Chandler because of his height . He did ok receiving Edited March 8, 2015 by ALF
EmotionallyUnstable Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 that's how you end up in the purgatory we've had at the position for 15 years Chandler, Gresham and Grey/Rookie would be a solid move IMO. You hav versatility, depth and experience. Face it, the next Gronk isn't walking through our doors anytime soon. Building depth here and spending elsewhere is a more realistic option
BarleyNY Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 im a big fan of clay. and thought the bills should make a move at him if he reaches free agency Agreed. Some team will make a run at him and I'd love it to be the Bills. They could sure use him.

Not at the table Karlos Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 I'll take Gresham for a few million less. He is a better blocker and still a solid pass catcher. I would like this
Dorkington Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Gresham is really good value, I didn't know he was available.
nucci Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Anyone one here watch Gresham play? He's not that good. Chandler is a much better receiver.
YoloinOhio Posted March 8, 2015 Author Posted March 8, 2015 Anyone one here watch Gresham play? He's not that good. Chandler is a much better receiver.he's "ok" as a security blanket at times for Dalton, but lots of drops and oft-injured
nucci Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 he's "ok" as a security blanket at times for Dalton, but lots of drops and oft-injured Yep and would be a backup if Eifert wasn't always hurt.
Doc Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 The Bills really want Clay. They'll have to choose between keeping him and getting Suh.
YoloinOhio Posted March 8, 2015 Author Posted March 8, 2015 @DolfansNYC: Bills expected to make tight end Charles Clay a substantial offer http://t.co/ZEkj7XvcNq#Dolphins
Andrew Son Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 This guy is a weapon. Our offense will look totally different... This excites me
Rubes Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Glad to hear there is definite interest on our side. I'd like to see him on our sideline.

K D Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 So they have to beat Miami's offer of $7 mil. Is he really worth $8 mil? I think there are better options but they must think he fits their system. I just hate to spend that much on this guy when we have other needs

They only have $7 mil in space as of now and look to be a lock to sign Suh....
