Punch Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Joe Chenelly@jchenelly · 7 mins7 minutes ago #CharlesClay said he wants to stay with #Dolphins, but there is a reason #Miami felt a need to tag him. He will entertain the #Bills offer.
Ittakestime Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Dumb move. By the time 7 days roll around, no TEs will be available. Clay is staying with Miami, just using the bills.

eball Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 (edited) Dumb move. By the time 7 days roll around, no TEs will be available. Clay is staying with Miami, just using the bills. If Clay "uses" the Bills to get the Fish to pay him more than they wanted to, then the Bills win. If the Bills get him for what they wanted to pay, then the Bills win. The only way the Bills lose is if they put all of their TE eggs in the Clay basket. They need a backup plan that doesn't involve Lee Smith. Edited March 10, 2015 by eball

Proteus Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Clay is a good Tight End and would be the best the Bills have had since the Metslarz, McKeller days. He is a good receiver and a good blocker as well. If we sign him he are looking great and receiver and TE. Make Clay happen and we just need to sign a lineman. Then we are looking great going into the draft.
Nanker Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Hey I don't know if you heard yet, but the bills are preparing and offer for Clay Meh Wawrow?
billsfan1959 Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 I just read that Suh's 60 million dollar contract with Miami is fully guaranteed. I wonder how the cap disbursement of that contract will affect how they react to an offer for Clay from the Bills - if at all?

John from Riverside Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Dumb move. By the time 7 days roll around, no TEs will be available. Clay is staying with Miami, just using the bills. We do in fact have a draft coming up. it will not in any way keep us from going after other positions.
Ittakestime Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 We do in fact have a draft coming up. it will not in any way keep us from going after other positions. Rookie TEs don't do crap in the NFL
John from Riverside Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 I think the bills are targeting the fins TE at the right time..... They are giving a huge contract to Suh.....which might give them reservations about matching OUR offer

We need to worry about our team, not about Miami's salary cap. Strike out on Clay, there is nothing left in FA
John from Riverside Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Rookie TEs don't do crap in the NFL OK....this is where I ask.....WHAT WOULD YOU DO? Ill wait.....

Forget Clay and go after Cameron and Gresham. Gresham is the best blocking te available which is something we really need. Edited March 10, 2015 by SexyRexy

Gresham is the best blocking te available which is something we really need. Cameron has concussion ssues Gresham (who I wouldnt hate) has dropsie issues Is it really so hard to understand that the bills are targeting specific players and making hard pushes for them. By the way....if blocking is the only reason why u like Gresham there are plenty of blocking TE's in the draft......Oleary looks to fit that bill really well
