C.Biscuit97
You guys kill me with the locker room cancer stuff! Randy Moss was a locker room cancer too. Need I say more. If Harvin was a 6'4" freak who might be the second best wr ever, I'd be more willing to overlook it. Instead, he is a little dude (Napoleon syndrome), who has bad headaches who can't stay healthy, who never had a 1,000 yard season, and has been in decline. I mean if he was super cheap. But chemistry matters more in football than any other sport. IF you can't get along with Pete Carroll or Leslie Frazier, you have problems. Screwball
As long as he doesnt lay down in the endzone.... CBF That was our beloved TJ Graham. At first thought I hated the thought of Harvin on this team, but if Rex thinks he can fit in I will trust him. Plus, I can completely see him having a huge year with the Pats so if we can avoid that it's a plus. Edited March 11, 2015 by Screwball
Not at the table Karlos
I was at the tj graham laying down game and it was clear as day that he was laying there. No idea who they were trying to fool.

Besides his offenses, another concern with Rex is he is too much of a player's coach. Sometimes, I think he lets the players run the lockerroom. No idea who they were trying to fool. its because it has worked in the nfl before. the outside gunner abandons his lane thinking there is no one over there - pitch it back and you are gone. not a common play but the eagles did it a couple years ago. Much like what Clay can do, Harvin can beat you in a variety of manners. I always believe that you need a few guys that can change a game with a big play. He falls in that category. You would have to think that he will come pretty cheap >$5M per year. He is worth the gamble IMO. The Bills are clearly looking for another WR (they called on Marshall). I wish that it was a big target but I could see Harvin filling the Sproles type of role.
K D
if we sign Harvin does that mean we cut Thigpen? i thought he looked pretty good last year. if Harvin is on a 1 yr prove it deal then he will be gone after this yr and then we need a return specialist again

I wish that it was a big target but I could see Harvin filling the Sproles type of role. you could also do some wildcat type stuff with harvin/mccoy, plays with options, or come out with clay, harvin, watkins, wood, and Gray and force a team to cover 5 wide and then hurry up with harvin as the back, and have a 2 TE set to run on a dime defense. if we sign Harvin does that mean we cut Thigpen? i thought he looked pretty good last year. if Harvin is on a 1 yr prove it deal then he will be gone after this yr and then we need a return specialist again thigpens are pretty easily acquired. i wouldnt make any moves with his long term in mind. a nice piece, but not something to plan around if its costing you elsewhere. That's fair but I'm a big fan of track record. It's why I hate starting veteran journeymen type QBs. At some point, you are what you are. Harvin has an awful case of little man's disease and it seems to happen everywhere he goes. I love the makeup of this team. I just don't want a knucklehead to ruin it. Love the talent, hate the brain.

CJ was returning KO, Percy would likely take that over. Edited March 11, 2015 by YoloinOhio

YoloinOhio
@ChrisTrapasso: #Bills interest in Percy Harvin could be centered around Greg Roman wanting to load up on yards-after-catch WRs, which he didn't have in SF. I'm warming up to it. Still prefer adding size but Clay will do that.

Wsam4031
Totally against this, dont care about his attitude or anything like that just want to see them address the OL. They Just traded for one of the best Rb's in the league and gave him no help up front. I thought this was supposed to b eour biggest need in free agency. If they can sign a decent guard or 2 and have money leftover for Harvin, fine grab him. Dont go investing in toy players when you still have glaring needs at OL. Not at the table Karlos
Free agency isn't a day old yet. There are still line man out there. The draft hasn't happened yet and signing clay and Harvin wouldn't stop us from signing a limeman.
