NoSaint Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 OP, weve chatted on it before - is it terribly difficult to include a link or any sourcing? it seems you often misinterpret stuff (like this, when hes not a bill unless miami took off the tag and we signed him)
TC in St. Louis Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 How good is this guy anyway? Apparently they love him, but whatever.
BfloBillsFan Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Rodak reported that (according to Schefter) Clay is visiting the Bills
Not at the table Karlos Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Just seen it on nfl insiders. 4 minutes ago.I watched it and he said the bills are flying him in and hope to have him sign an offer sheet.

dezertbill Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 He said Clay was flying to Buffalo to possibly sign a tender that the Dolphins have 7 days to match
seq004 Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 How good is this guy anyway? Apparently they love him, but whatever. He's really good. I'm not sure if you would call him elite but very good.
SmokinES3 Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 How good is this guy anyway? Apparently they love him, but whatever. His versatility is outstanding. He can line up literally anywhere and has to be accounted for.
jo39416 Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Can we change the name of this thread or close it?
Lurker Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 How about changing the title of this thread... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/03/10/report-charles-clay-to-visit-buffalo/
KRT88 Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Miami would have 7 days to match any offer, therefore, how could he be a bill 2 hours after free agency began?
TPS Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Miami would have 7 days to match any offer, therefore, how could he be a bill 2 hours after free agency began? They have 7 days, but they can decline to match the offer any time prior, which includes 2 hours after seeing the offer.
nucci Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Miami would have 7 days to match any offer, therefore, how could he be a bill 2 hours after free agency began? It could happen but not realistic. If Clay signs with us Miami has to look at the contract. They don't have to take all 7 days but will definitely take some time.
GG Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 (edited) IMHO Miami can decline to match the tender before 7 days, which they may do if the Bills offer puts them in cap hell. Edited March 10, 2015 by GG
BobbyC81 Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 I beleive he is on his way to Buffalo. Not signed. Imo Yeah, surprised he's actually going to make a visit as opposed to the other deals being made throughout the league.
Chandler#81 Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 OP, you have 5 mins to confirm or everybody 'IN'
DC Greg Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 His versatility is outstanding. He can line up literally anywhere and has to be accounted for. Miami didn't use him nearly as much as they should have. He is a force in the redzone. Very impressive, and a SOLID addition to my fantasy team. Paid a lot of attention to him this year for that reason. Really think he will be a beast for us, especially if Roman knows how to use him.
