VABills Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 KFFL is reporting the Bills will not use a Francise tag on Jennings or Pat Williams. Like A Mofo Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 You think this is a sign of Pat's departure?
Rico Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 Smart move by TD, neither player is close to being worth the top 5 average at his position.
/dev/null Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 You think this is a sign of Pat's departure? 231137[/snapback] quite the opposite. the franchise tag isn't viewed favorably by players or agents. given that PW has said he wants to play for the bills and is willing to resign at a lower price than he would command on the market, hitting him with the tag would be a bad move by TD. all TD really needs to do is make a reasonable offer
