marck Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 After reviewing all the preseason tapes and with my own opinions in place, here is my thought of the final 53 man roster Offense - 26 Players QB: Bledsoe, Matthews, Brown, Loseman RB: Henry, McGahee, Williama FB: Shelton WR: Moulds, Evans, Reed, Aiken, Shaw, Haddad TE: Campbell, Neufield, Euchs, Trafford OL: Williams, Smith, Teague, Villereal, Jennings, Tucker, Price, Sullivan, Sobieski Kickers - 2 Players PK - Lindell P - Moorman Defense - 25 Players DE: Schoebel, Denny, Kelsay, McKenzie DT: Adams, Williams, Edwards, Anderson, Sape LB: Spikes, Posey, Fletcher, Gildon, Crowell, Haggen, Stammer, Stevenson CB: Vincent, Clements, McGhee, Thomas S: Milloy, Reese, Baker, Wire This is my feel based on what I have seen. Looking for what changes anyone else thinks.

34-78-83 Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 Looks like a reasonable guess to me. I'd prefer a keeper of Lawton over a guy like Haddad just for special teams value (Haddad has not returned kicks w/ us) and Lawton's FB potential looking pretty good. I'd probably also keep a guy like Bannan over Crowell.

I think Tradford will make the team. Three TE's and Two Fullbacks and of course does Dorenbos make the team as a snapper, if so I see Mckenzie being left out.

Pucillo may beat out Sullivan and McFarland is nothing but practice squad caliber, No way a 4th running back is kept and this means Simonton will be released. Can't see any real reason to keep five corners on the roster unless he is a better special teams player then either Stammer or Stevenson.
ganesh Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 Defense - 25 Players CB: Vincent, Clements, McGhee, Thomas S: Milloy, Reese, Baker, Wire 17577 We are definitely going to go with at least 9 DBs.....I think Greer makes the team... Also, Hadad has done nothing to secure a roster spot.
bbfan54 Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 What about LS? Looks like Dorenbos is the only option there.
eball Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 you have 54 players listed (27 on offense). i think sullivan, trafford, and haddad are gone. i like lawton to get a spot at FB. dorenbos keeps his job as LS. that gets us to 53. as soon as brown is healthy matthews gets cut and we add another DB or OL.
Frez Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 Travis Brown is history. I bet the Bills give him an injury settlement and say goodbye to him. Shane Matthews is by far a better QB.
bbfan54 Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 Sobieski has done nothing to stay on the roster.
Rico Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 We are definitely going to go with at least 9 DBs.....I think Greer makesthe team... 17630 That's the 1st thing I thought as well. Add +1 or +2 DB, Maybe add +1 RB or FB, Those groups appear light. Subtract -1 QB or -1 TE or -1 DT or -1 LB Those groups appear fat.
