Beef Jerky Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 how in the hell are the fins signing Suh or the Saints Byrd last year? Cap is crap; get Kap. Yea! Cap Is Crap; Get Kap!
K D Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Wow! Looks like the 49er's are starting over.Ran one of the best coaches in the league out of town and traded or failed to signed all.of their talent. Oh how the mighty have fallen
FluffHead Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Fred Jackson for kaep. Lol. But seriously. Git r dun. This roster can make a deep playoff run with him at Qb.
Beef Jerky Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Hurry who has Whaley's number? Wake him up if he is sleeping!
C.Biscuit97 Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 This is fun to thing about but 1) Kaepernick was bad in Roman's offense. Can't imagine either are begging for a reunion. 2) Starting qbs don't get traded unless there are major issues. If, and it's a big if, the 49ers are trading Kaepernick, there are big issues.
Big C Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Who the hell is going to play QB for them? Matt Cassel, obviously.
K D Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Hurry who has Whaley's number? Wake him up if he is sleeping! I'm sure Roman has the inside knowledge on this one. Lots of friends still in SF. Make it happen!

There are bigger issues with knee j manuel and king of the cassel
Mark Vader Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 or they finally see kaepernick is not good Maybe. But there is no way they are starting the season with Blaine Gabbert at the helm.

He was not bad until last year. I do think there are some issues there, but I also know that he was Harbaugh's guy and they may want to finish the purge.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Super bowl caliber QBs don't just show up on the trading block every day. I would easily trade our 2nd rounder for him.
John from Riverside Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Sleeping is for old GMs Doug Whaley is in the gym powerlifting

K-Apps Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 3) He really isn't all that different from Manuel. He's a much more mobile and has a better arm than Manuel
Pneumonic Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Technically it's not too late. His contract is pretty friendly to cut I think, but not friendly in cap dollars if I remember correctly Send McCoy back and sign Gore. Then trade Kiko for Kaep.
QCity Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 3) He really isn't all that different from Manuel. Yeah right. He's a threat to score with his legs from anywhere on the field. EJ is a threat to run out of bounds (if he can get there). I hate Kaepernick because I think he's a D-bag, but I would warm up to him real fast. Real fast.
Punch Posted March 9, 2015 Author Posted March 9, 2015 @CharlesRobinson: If Colin Kaepernick is on the trading block, #49ers would take a $9,863,012 cap hit on the remainder of his signing bonus. This seems wild.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 3) He really isn't all that different from Manuel. You gotta be joking, right? He is better in every possible way, by a lot-- accuracy, arm strength, vision, mobility, health, etc.
