billsfan89 Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 The system for compensatory picks is messed up. Its logic of simply counting bodies without context doesn't make for a rational system. Losing a player like Byrd to a huge contract without signing a similar player salary wise should yield you a pick of some sort. I think they need to rework the system to factor in context of players signing.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 The Pats get all our picks. They do have it tough, being good and all. Everyone is after their players in FA.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 The Bills lost a big time player in S J. Byrd who NO paid $10M+. What draft picks do you think we might be awarded for losing Byrd/others in 2014?? With only a R2/R3/R5/R6/R6 in 2015 we could sure use more quality draft picks. none, they always find some reason to not give us compensation
NoSaint Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 (edited) none, they always find some reason to not give us compensation You mean like setting a rule 20 years ago and us not meeting that clearly defined and unchanging standard many years? Edited March 9, 2015 by NoSaint
