nucci Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 It's not my money. I don't care how much he gets. Just saying I'd prefer to have Kiko plus whatever money saved to get someone else as opposed to McCoy. They can sign whomever they choose to as long as that player wants to sign here. Ryan did not prefer Alonzo here whether you agree or not
YoloinOhio Posted March 8, 2015 Author Posted March 8, 2015 @ProFootballTalk: None of LeSean McCoy's cap numbers under his new deal come within $2 million of the cap number he would have had in Philly this year.
nucci Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 It's front loaded in cash not cap hit. Don't be a doofus here FC. His cap hit just cut in half this year It's impossible to get through to some people. Don't bother.
Flutie Flakes Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Agreed, it is a very good deal for the Bills and McCoy. I love how they structured this deal with plenty of cap space left for OL help and to bring Hughes back.
YoloinOhio Posted March 8, 2015 Author Posted March 8, 2015 @ProFootballTalk: Cap numbers for LeSean McCoy: $5.5M in 2015, $7.675M in 2016, $8.875M in 2017, $8.95M in 2018, $9.05M in 2019.
nucci Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Agreed, it is a very good deal for the Bills and McCoy. I love how they structured this deal with plenty of cap space left for OL help and to bring Hughes back. They've always had enough space to sign Hughes
Not at the table Karlos Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 (edited) Kaner @88PKane: Welcome to Buffalo LeSean McCoy @CutonDime25 maybe Mccoy can say the same thing in a couple years.. and it'd hockey so wouldn't it be kanie or kanesie or something like that smh Edited March 8, 2015 by kr632
Flutie Flakes Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 They've always had enough space to sign Hughes That's correct, but this gives them a little more latitude in structuring his contract with less guaranteed money. Also gives them some more room for other players at other positions of need.
The Wiz Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 maybe Mccoy can say the same thing in a couple years.. and it'd hockey so wouldn't it be kanie or kanesie or something like that smh The ie, sie, sey is reserved for sabres players. That being said, love the contract.

DrDawkinstein Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 They've always had enough space to sign Hughes Right, but it would have been ONLY Hughes. Now we can get Hughes, and another OL and/or TE, or whoever else.
nucci Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Right, but it would have been ONLY Hughes. Now we can get Hughes, and another OL and/or TE, or whoever else. Not sure about that. Hughes cap hit can come in low also along with a couple players cut this week. It does help but doubt it affects negotiations
FireChan Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 It's impossible to get through to some people. Don't bother. Do less.
NoSaint Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Right, but it would have been ONLY Hughes. Now we can get Hughes, and another OL and/or TE, or whoever else. Even that is overstating the situation.... We were 18m under the cap.... Give hughes the same kind of year 1 structure and we still would've had 12m (the space numbers all obviously higher now). weve never been close to trouble unless you are planning to add 4-5 of the top 25 free agents.
Reed83HOF Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 NOt for nothing - La Canfora is a dick Bills went above and beyond for Shady McCoy. 5 yrs and 26.05 guaranteed w/$13.125 sign bonus. $40M total comp with $16M (!!) in year one... Jason La Canfora @JasonLaCanfora 5m5 minutes ago That's an unreal haul for a guy coming off his worst season still signed to longterm deal at a position being devalued in most places... 0 replies 27 retweets 23 favorites Jason La Canfora @JasonLaCanfora 2m2 minutes ago Mccoy at $16M for '15 blows away any other RB compensation for this year. Peterson at $13M (if not lower on a new deal). Lynch just got $12M Jason La Canfora @JasonLaCanfora 2m2 minutes ago Bills may well regret this pre-free agency splurge. Bid against themselves on McCoy and Incognito and they're not done spending yet... 0 replies 28 retweets 17 favorites Joe Chenelly @jchenelly 17s17 seconds ago @JasonLaCanfora More of the same anti-Bills garbage. At least you're not making up false reports about them today. Yet.
RealityCheck Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 That puts the Bills in a position to have what, over 20 million in cap space before additional cuts?
Wayne Cubed Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Even that is overstating the situation.... We were 18m under the cap.... Yup. Add that the cap is expected to go up by $10-$15 million next year and there is tons of room to resign Dareus next year.
YoloinOhio Posted March 8, 2015 Author Posted March 8, 2015 Lacanfora - are lynch and petersons 2015 salaries almost ALL Signing bonus? No? Oh.
