Trump_is_Mentally_fit Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 UCLA is about as liberal as you get in SoCal. And I think everyone knows most liberals despise Jews. Most Jews are Liberal you filthy creep
Chef Jim Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Most Jews are Liberal you filthy creep Which has been mentioned here a million times and that is makes no sense.
IDBillzFan Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Most Jews are Liberal you filthy creep Yes, but not all Liberals are Jews, Nancy. And as liberals point out repeatedly, you could wipe them all off the face of the earth and still win elections. Which is why people like you and JTSP have no problem if they were wiped out tomorrow.
B-Man Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Surprised at the anti-Jewish/ Israel sentiment on U.S. campuses............where have you people been ? Mainstream media wakes up to BDS-Anti-Semitism connection Long time Legal Insurrection readers know that for years we have been sounding the alarm over the connection between the gross anti-Israel propaganda which demonizes and dehumanizes both Israeli Jews and supporters of Israel, and anti-Semitism. Scroll through our Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) tag for several dozen over 200 stories over the years. We reported on February 12, 2015, that UCLA student gov’t candidate challenged for being Jewish. Now the story has gone mainstream, with an article in The NY Times, In U.C.L.A. Debate Over Jewish Student, Echoes on Campus of Old Biases: As I have pointed out, this is part of a larger movement to ban pro-Israel and almost always Jewish students from involvement in campus politics. Morning Joe addressed the situation (note – the video they mention was taken down, but Legal Insurrection has posted a complete version of that portion of the event): (more…)
LeviF Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 What's the issue here? Seems like they were asking questions about how she would handle conflicts of interest, especially in context. This doesn't come close to being anti-Semitic, at least on its face.
3rdnlng Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Most Jews are Liberal you filthy creep Not in Israel, where they know the dangers of a liberal mindset.

LeviF Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I guess if every candidate gets asked if they'd be biased for being Christian, Muslim, etc, it's OK. But I doubt that's a standard question. Certainly looks awkward in context. I'm nowhere near motivated enough to watch the video of the debate after she left the room. But I'll go with "Looks pretty bad to me." Maybe. But whenever someone yells "anti-Semite!" I'm already skeptical. The tribe is very insular and very protective of their own, arguably rightfully so. I don't think you can use Christians, Muslims, etc. as a comparison because Jewishness (if I may) is much more of a personal ethnic identity than it is a religion nowadays, especially among liberal groups like Hillel and Jewish sororities and fraternities. Hillel is all about Israel, not about the Jewish faith, and there have been some tensions over at UCLA regarding Israel. Was the question asked in poor taste? Yeah. But it's not anti-Semitic.
