BillsFan-4-Ever Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Bills should still have about $15M in cap room. Without Jerry's new numbers $18,429,067 Cap Space (w/Top 51 & Projected Draft Pool) - I was looking for this $21,672,282 Cap Space (w/Top 51) http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/cap/ though it does show up on the team link http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/ 5 Year $45,000,000, average salary $9,000,000, Guaranteed $22,000,000 Expires 2020
The Big Cat Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 So...would we call Jerry's contract a hometown discount??
YoloinOhio Posted March 9, 2015 Author Posted March 9, 2015 So...would we call Jerry's contract a hometown discount??since we don't know the other offers it's hard to say. The only team rumored to have offered more is Jax and well... He probably just didn't want to go there

Due to the new CBA, it's incredibly predictable and really not that much. Shouldn't be an issue, especially with no 1st round pick.

jimmy10 Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Great statement by the new regime. I said it back when the Pegulas took over. They simply could not let the first stud free agent walk on their watch. #coldfront, love it
BringBackFergy Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Now that Jerry is signed, maybe OBD can upgrade their software to Windows 8??
YoloinOhio Posted March 9, 2015 Author Posted March 9, 2015 Now that Jerry is signed, maybe OBD can upgrade their software to Windows 8?? baby steps

Shouldn't be an issue, especially with no 1st round pick. there is a cap on draft picks. so the most that can be spent was figured in (I assume)
The Wiz Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 (edited) Now that Jerry is signed, maybe OBD can upgrade their software to Windows 8?? Unless that's a touchscreen monitor, it basically the same thing as windows 7. And it's not. That's a standard dell monitor that looks to be a 4:3 ratio. Edited March 9, 2015 by The Wiz
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Now that Jerry is signed, maybe OBD can upgrade their software to Windows 8?? LOL oh wait..... Windows 8 is not business friendly from what I discovered Windows 8 is basically an "tablet" app driven application with fully functional Windows 7 OS. but I'm an idiot so don't quote me
Fingon Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Next year's cap space (pre-Hughes deal) assuming the cap stays the same: $143,280,000 - $97,390,923 = $45,889,077 The following year (2017): $143,280,000 - $63,836,016 = $79,443,984 Assuming the cap rises $10 million per season that would put us around $50 million next season and $100 million the season after. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/cap/2016/ http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/cap/2017/
MTLBills Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Another positive thing about this is that dareus is his very good friend on the team and gives him incentive to get something done as well long term. Pay these men!
TPS Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 I think Clay and a G....maybe a T.............then the draft One more OL, Clay, and Easely, and they can cruise into the draft.
CountryCletus Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Easley seems to be getting over looked lately... I hope he gets offered something, I can't see him NOT getting an offer to stay- he's a special teams stud and still developing as a WR.... His WR development is really slow.... But that ear and a half off didn't help... GO BILLS!
