EmotionallyUnstable Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Jerry is solid. He knows what he has in MD, MW and KW. He'll take the $8.5 mill and go Beast Mode on Defense. Team friendly deal to bring MD back long term?!
BringBackFergy Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Team friendly deal to bring MD back long term?!You would think so right? If these four stay together for the next 2-3 years that would be amazing.
Rockinon Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Can the Bills afford 2 100mil DLmen? That would be a 1st anywhere in the league.
EmotionallyUnstable Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 You would think so right? If these four stay together for the next 2-3 years that would be amazing. Exactly. And draft depth/replacements will later picks. One can hope
Deranged Rhino Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Can the Bills afford 2 100mil DLmen? That would be a 1st anywhere in the league. Â If they're not paying a marquee QB they can, especially when Mario restructures to free up room.
YoloinOhio Posted March 9, 2015 Author Posted March 9, 2015 Can the Bills afford 2 100mil DLmen? That would be a 1st anywhere in the league. yes. No QB.
FluffHead Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Team friendly deal to bring MD back long term?! I wouldn't be too hopeful. Jerry said himself he has never heard of a hometown discount
klos63 Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Team friendly deal to bring MD back long term?! Would probably need to do more. Would expect some improvement at QB so money would be needed for that. They will always release veterans. Graham, McKelvin, Wood , FJax , maybe even Kyle Williams soon. Plus cap always goes up.
FluffHead Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 @john_wawrow: Am told #Bills have room under cap to fit Hughes without Mario restructuring.
YoloinOhio Posted March 9, 2015 Author Posted March 9, 2015 @john_wawrow: Am told #Bills have room under cap to fit Hughes without Mario restructuring.sweet
What a Tuel Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 @john_wawrow: Am told #Bills have room under cap to fit Hughes without Mario restructuring. Â I sure hope so, don't we have like $19 million?
Doc Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Yeah, the Bills have $21.6M in cap room. Assuming Hughes re-signs for $9M/year, the first year cap hit should be around $6M.
YoloinOhio Posted March 9, 2015 Author Posted March 9, 2015 Â I sure hope so, don't we have like $19 million? 21m but they have likely allocated a certain amount already toward target FAs and draft picks
CountryCletus Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 I hope this D swap doesn't make Hughes look like a douche-nozzle
billsfan89 Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Jerry is solid. He knows what he has in MD, MW and KW. He'll take the $8.5 mill and go Beast Mode on Defense. Â I think Hughes wants a big guarantee from Buffalo even if the year by year value is a little lower. More guaranteed is always better in the NFL and with Dareus, Mario, and Kyle he gets to play in the successful scheme which will help him insure he collects the non-guaranteed money.

They'll be making plenty of more moves and will have plenty of room to do what they need to do with not only Dareus, but Gilmore and Glenn. This is shaping up to be a good day.
Beef Jerky Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 I say beat the Seahawks and be the first for a fully guaranteed contract.
Rockinon Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 @john_wawrow: Am told #Bills have room under cap to fit Hughes without Mario restructuring. Maybe the plan is to wait until next year when Darius' contract is up.
Franchiseneedsme Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 @CharlesRobinson: #Bills are expecting to keep Jerry Hughes. #Jaguars are his richest outside suitor, but it sounds like Buffalo is intent on getting it done.I really hope we are jacking the price up for the Jags so we can then sign Hardy...PLEASE GOD, HARDY
