mattsox Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 If Chicago decides to trade Cutler would you renig on Cassel and absorb Cutlets 15 million guaranteed money. What in the world??? No Way is he being traded and no way is he coming to Buffalo. This is a non topic!
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 1st off people are complaining about the Bill dwindling cap $ this "trade" will cut to less than $1mil sportrac lists his cap as $16,500,000. that unadjusted figure wipes (exceeds) out the Bills cap space plus his attitude sucks
Chuck Wagon Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I can't see Cutler and his "TV Star" wife enjoying a relocation to WNY, plus as mentioned, there was a pretty public falling out with Kromer not even 6 months ago. Cassel can play the conservative role we need, if EJ beats him out in camp then great.
What a Tuel Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 All of our running backs combined averaged what McCoy did last season. Wedidnt really need to make this epic trade when there are more pressing matters. If they could pull off the McCoy trade I think if they tried a little harder they could have brought in a middle of the road qb. If we improve the line, McCoy will do a lot better than Jackson, Brown, and Dixon would do on their own. Spiller was gone since the Bills offered $4.5 million and he turned it down. The QB we all want isn't out there. All we can do is improve the offense to mask the deficiencies at QB. Improve the line. Improve the running game. Improve the tight end. Improve the coaching. We are almost there. We don't need to blow it on Cutler.
truth on hold Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Of course he's available for a trade But nobody wants him and his ridiculous contract. That's why bears could end up waiving him
Billzfan37 Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Perhaps the Eagles could give Cutler a try....they certainly have enough cap room now. The problem is....Cutler is not a former Duck. Chip only likes former Ducks.
Turbosrrgood Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Of course Cutler is available, he has been since the season ended. The problem is no one is dumb enough to take on that contract. The Bills certainly won't be dumb enough at this point, having already traded for McCoy and Cassel and their respective high cap hits. There is zero chance this is even in the thought process for Whaley now.

buffalo2218 Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 You need to believe. Believe what? We already had this discussion in the shout box. Ryan wouldn't tolerate Cutler's pouty attitude and Wood would probably b-slap him all the way to the sideline after another infamous ill-timed pick. Cutler isn't worth $1 of our cap or 1 second of our time

You can't. Even so, Ryan and Wood would both change their tunes after the first deep bomb to Sammy for a TD. Edited March 6, 2015 by FireChan

Rex never had to deal with anybody with Cutler's attitude either, you're sorely mistaken if you think Ryan would let Cutler get away with that. One word describes Cutler, has been and even that's a compliment. He was a crybaby in Denver and pathetic in Chicago. Don't need anything like that in our locker room. Screw Cutler

qwksilver Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 (edited) It would become real INteresting if Bears kicked in a draft pick (3rd or 4th rounder) to sweetIN the pot. Edited March 6, 2015 by qwksilver
Beef Jerky Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Jay Cutler just doesn't care about football... No thanks.
