NoSaint Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 (edited) @ChrisBrownBills: The #Bills have agreed to terms w/Minn to acquire QB Matt Cassel & a draft pick for 2 undisclosed picks. Details at http://t.co/tgttAMwjdw. so probably cassel and late rounder for two mid/late picks. think cassel and a 7 for a 4 or 5 and 6 or something similar. Edited March 4, 2015 by NoSaint
The Poojer Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 happy about this....very low cost, cannot wait to see what picks are involved
Deranged Rhino Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Not thrilled or mad. Better than Sanchez or Hoyer. Not good not horrible. Yeah, better than McCown. Â Yup. I'm fine with this move (depending on compensation). Cassel is competition for EJ and whomever else they bring in. I think they'll still bring in another QB via UFA. Â Buffalo gets Cassel and a 1st round pick for our 5th and 7th rounder.... Seems pretty fair... Â Confirmed? Which years?

K D Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 so who is still doubting these inside sources? McCown fell through so they went after Cassel as was said on here weeks ago. next they will try and get Locker and they are still planning on drafting a guy as far as I know

NoSaint Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Â Country, Where are you getting your info?? Link? its a made up joke. we arent getting a 1st to take a player they were likely to just cut.
Sojourner Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Bills address QB, acquire Matt Cassel Posted 5 minutes ago  Thank you very much.

dave mcbride Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Not thrilled or mad. Better than Sanchez or Hoyer. Not good not horrible. Yeah, better than McCown. Worse than Sanchez in my opinion, and by a fair amount. But it really doesn't matter much. They're all bad options. He's gotten worse every year of late, and is basically a statue. He did play in the little league world series though, and that's pretty cool. Â The basic question I ask myself is this: is player X (in this case, Cassell) an upgrade over Orton? I'd say no here.
DrDawkinstein Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 In a vacuum, not too excited. But looking at the available QBs, not bad move. At least we added a QB to the roster.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 How many new threads on this? Â Over / Under 10

The Poojer Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 i think mccoy and ej is an upgrade over orton and mccoy instantly  Worse than Sanchez in my opinion, and by a fair amount. The Big Cat Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Bills fans will hate this trade because he's not Aaron Rodgers.
Talley56 Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Given the options, I can't say I'm overly disappionted. He did lead the Chiefs to a division title in 2010.
Coach Tuesday Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 He's good at throwing the deep ball and probably good at play-action.
negativo Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Me likely. Me likey very much. Me thinky we have a serviceable QB that is good enough to get us to the playoffs.
