Drreef2 Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 (edited) 2015 - 11.95 mill 2016 - 8.95 mill 2017 - 7.95 mill http://overthecap.com/player/lesean-mccoy/761 This seems reasonable in the third year. I can live with this trade. One of best backs in the league. Look what happened with LT with Rex at end of career. And McCoy is still in prime Edited March 4, 2015 by Drreef2
VABills Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 No his cap hit will be 9.75. We are not responsible for bonus money that get lumped against philly right away.
NoSaint Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 No his cap hit will be 9.75. We are not responsible for bonus money that get lumped against philly right away. Not sure the exact number but yes.
K-9 Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 I'm looking for his deal to be restructured. GO BILLS!!!
Uffalo Ills Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 I'm in delirium now. Cant tell if this is good or bad...
maddenboy Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Who cares? 1) Its not my money 2) The money has to be spent 3) We have the space
OntarioRV Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 I saw elsewhere its 10.25 for 2015, 6.9 for 2016 and 7.6 for 2017. They will probably add a 4 year and bring down the 2015 number in a restructure.
Drreef2 Posted March 4, 2015 Author Posted March 4, 2015 No his cap hit will be 9.75. We are not responsible for bonus money that get lumped against philly right away. Well that's even better...I can live with that. Look what Gore did in Roman's offense when people were saying he was getting too old. I suspect McCoy is going to be top 3 in rushing next year!!!
YoloinOhio Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 @hsimon62: Bills can easily lower cap number this season by tacking a year or two on his contract and turning some of his 9.75 base into a bonus
Punch Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 McCoy is on record that he'd restructure in Philly to help against the cap: longer term, same money. I'm sure we'll hear of a restructure in the works.

Green Lightning Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Whatever the number is in year one, it's too high. If they can get it down some, the deal is fine. We'll get 2, maybe 3 years of a top back and they get anywhere from an injury prone but talented player to an all-pro backer for as long as his smaller frame can take the pounding.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 (edited) lets hope he'll want to renegotiate with Buffalo more than he did with the Iggles agreed lets hope he'll want to renegotiate with Buffalo more than he did with the Iggles Edited March 4, 2015 by BillsFan-4-Ever

It doesn't hurt the Bills cap. Recall that recently the cap increased $10M from last year. Everyone stop worrying about money.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 he just wants more guaranteed money. guaranteed is OK if he's willing to take a vet minimum salary on a 4 or 5 year contract. what is he 27? than puts him at 31, 32 at the end
YoloinOhio Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 @RapSheet: The final piece of LeSean McCoy for Kiko Alonso deal expected to be a revised contract for Shady. Right now, he has no guaranteed $ in 2016
