No his cap hit will be 9.75. We are not responsible for bonus money that get lumped against philly right away.

Not sure the exact number but yes.

I saw elsewhere its 10.25 for 2015, 6.9 for 2016 and 7.6 for 2017. They will probably add a 4 year and bring down the 2015 number in a restructure.

Well that's even better...I can live with that. Look what Gore did in Roman's offense when people were saying he was getting too old. I suspect McCoy is going to be top 3 in rushing next year!!!

McCoy is on record that he'd restructure in Philly to help against the cap: longer term, same money. I'm sure we'll hear of a restructure in the works.

man these guys don't waste any time

base salary $9,750,000, Roster Bonus $250,000 Cap hit $10,250,000

2016 $6,900,000 base salary

2017 $7,600,000 base salary

I think Philly still has a DEAD figure of $3,400,000

2015 - 11.95 mill
2016 - 8.95 mill
2017 - 7.95 mill

This seems reasonable in the third year. I can live with this trade. One of best backs in the league. Look what happened with LT with Rex at end of career. And McCoy is still in prime

that site does not compute with sporttrac

thats still the eagles numbers - the signing bonus goes back to them making ours a little lower (see spotrac listed in this thread)

Whatever the number is in year one, it's too high. If they can get it down some, the deal is fine. We'll get 2, maybe 3 years of a top back and they get anywhere from an injury prone but talented player to an all-pro backer for as long as his smaller frame can take the pounding.

lets hope he'll want to renegotiate with Buffalo more than he did with the Iggles

It doesn't hurt the Bills cap. Recall that recently the cap increased $10M from last year. Everyone stop worrying about money.

he just wants more guaranteed money.

guaranteed is OK if he's willing to take a vet minimum salary on a 4 or 5 year contract. what is he 27? than puts him at 31, 32 at the end
