He was not going to take a cut in pay and was on his way out. This trade is stupid. Kiko is one of the best players on the team and will be pro bowl caliber for 5 to 8 years. McCoy has one to two years left at a high level. Not a good trade at all. A bit of a stretch...Not even one of the best players on defense

McCoy is a proven stud and I really like the idea of the legend of Kiko. I like it. I can see how Philly hates it. Seems like Chip Kelly nepotism acting up again. How do you trade your most productive offensive weapon away for a LB? Any LB? Let alone for a LB who only has a promising rookie season under his belt and missed all of last season to a torn ligament! Maybe someone should go on their message boards and console them by telling them about the Legend of Kiko.
The Wiz Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 I love me some Kiko but will say the move is needed. CJ is going, the message couldn't be clearer. That leaves an aging FJ and two guys that probably totaled in their career what McCoy did last year. I still think either Boobie or Brown will get cut with a mid round RB coming in the draft.

Not to mention he tore the other ACL in college. I'm excited about it. Just look at his numbers compared to CJ who is unfortunately talking trash as he is walking out the door.
The Poojer Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 apparently CJ Spiller is announcing he has been cut and that the teams have his agents number On 3/4/2015 at 12:36 AM, The Wiz said: I love me some Kiko but will say the move is needed. Because McCoys numbers and role in the offense were fading fast, + they unload a large salary. I can totally see why eagles did this.

Brother, this trade would seem to ABSOLUTELY mandate that the Bills go after blockers via the draft, free agency or both. How about Bulaga, ya know? I am absolutely thrilled by this trade! GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 kiko just vetoed the trade with a simple growl.

I'm guessing they just gave him permission to do as he pleases as an expiring contract is in the comp pick talk and cut isn't

QCity Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Shady is certainly not a power back. RB's like him drop off the planet verrrryyyy fast once they lose a step. With 6 years already on him, we probably just traded 2-3 years of McCoy for a career out of Kiko. Will be really interesting to see where this ends up 3 years down the line. Of course, it's always amusing to see how fast our fanbase can turn on one of it's idolized players.

ChevyVanMiller Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 This from a Drew Rosenhaus tweet: I just spoke with the Eagles organization and there is no trade for LeSean at this time. There have been discussions but nothing finalized 6:51 PM - 3 Mar 2015
