John Cocktosten Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 You should have to use your real name and location if you want to use twitter.
May Day 10 Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Not a big schilling fan but yeah. Good for him. People are the worst. He should have sent them kingdoms of amalur
The Poojer Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 the thing that irks me about the story almost as much as the idiots that made the inappropriate comments is that the dude being a part time ticket taker at yankee stadium is the focus of all the articles turning this into a Yankees story....dude was president of a fraternity and is a part time ticket taker????
Beef Jerky Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 If he isn't talking baseball then I don't give a !@#$ about his internet bullies.
Gugny Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Preface: I cannot STAND Curt Schilling. That said, bravo. He definitely did the right thing and I applaud his efforts.
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 He did the right thing. I'm the farthest from a PC guy. But there's a difference between PC and common decency. The line is always startled on TBD, but these kids went far over.
KD in CA Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Isn't really any question here.....internet trolls getting publicly shamed and fired is one of the few true benefits of social media. the thing that irks me about the story almost as much as the idiots that made the inappropriate comments is that the dude being a part time ticket taker at yankee stadium is the focus of all the articles turning this into a Yankees story....dude was president of a fraternity and is a part time ticket taker???? Clearly you were never in a fraternity if you hold that role in any esteem.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Good for him for standing up for his daughter. On a human level, applause. But !@#$ the guy. He's an arrogant bastard.
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Good for him for standing up for his daughter. On a human level, applause. But !@#$ the guy. He's an arrogant bastard. He pitched a game with blood on his sock 11 years ago. He's a hero.
The Poojer Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 now wait a minute...we have seen a picture of her, so I am not inclined to immediately bash the trolls of course i am kidding
BillsFanM.D. Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 the thing that irks me about the story almost as much as the idiots that made the inappropriate comments is that the dude being a part time ticket taker at yankee stadium is the focus of all the articles turning this into a Yankees story....dude was president of a fraternity and is a part time ticket taker???? Good point. It's as if him selling Yankee tickets somehow adds spice to his idiocy. The Yankees fired him. Good for them too.
Alaska Darin Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 I don't understand the whole Twitter thing and why celebrities call attention to their children using it. No one could pay me enough money to expose my daughter to society the way he did. Before anyone goes all "internet" on me, I get that Schilling probably had no hidden agenda when he posted such an innocuous tweet. It's sad that people have so little class when it comes to other people's children.
Jobu Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 He abso-friggin-lutely did the right thing. My daughter, I would have more than likely ended up in jail on a misdemeanor assault rap.
NobesBLO13 Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 He abso-friggin-lutely did the right thing. My daughter, I would have more than likely ended up in jail on a misdemeanor assault rap.Agreed. I have a cousin who is like this. I don't talk to this person anymore and this is one of the reasons. If he got outed like in this story I would not be sad.
