I'll grant you the Wanny aspect of his shortcomings, but lest we forget Hughes had a prior stop as well. The point being, a guy who needs a "system," or in this case three all-pro players within his unit, isn't worth top dollar. Such a horrible comparison. Oh? Two first round medium-sized outside rushers who flamed out with their first teams only to flourish for double-digit sacks for their seconds? billsfan89 Posted March 3, 2015 Share Posted March 3, 2015 I think they are hoping the market for Hughes isn't as good as he thinks (Lots of pass rushers on the market) or that they hope to negotiate in good faith similar to the way they locked up Stevie. But I wouldn't be surprised to see Hughes on another team. Without Hughes the team has a ton of cap space even if Dareus getting an extension.
