Johnny Hammersticks Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 I remember when SJ was a great RB. He should have retired three years ago. He's done.

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 I haven't really seen him lately. Â But it is interesting that there is a flood of vet power backs on the market. Jackson, deangelo Williams, Peyton Hillis, probably Gore. Â Gotta wonder if one of these guys has another year in them, and whether we take a flyer on a 1-year deal.
truth on hold Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Rams worked him like a rented mule. I hope Im wrong because he was fun to watch back in the day, but he sure looked like the classic "once great, lost a step (or two), out of the league in a year" last season
Tipster19 Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Other than the money this would be a great signing for the Bills. The guy is a physical specimen. Google him and pull up images, your jaw will drop. Big, strong RB who can catch out of the backfield. Why wouldn't you want him? He's a proven veteran and then some. In a Rex Ryan offense this would be his Chris Ivory. I'm not a player for Bryce Brown, never have been, never will be. We need to re-sign Spiller and if not get someone like him, like Reggie Bush. Delegate Dixon to STs/short yardage and utilize the Jackson tandem. The more veterans on offense the better, it would definitely make it more secure for EJ if he were to be the starter. Sign a couple more seasoned veterans for the OL and let this defense rip. What we are building is not sexy but it sure be efficient. If people are hoping or expecting a splashy, electric offense then they are going to be sadly disappointed. With that being said expect our offense to be like the Parcels' '89 Giants, loaded with veterans, a ground-n-pound offense with a couple of big, game breaking plays that is anchored by an awesome defense. This works for me.
K D Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Man what a bust this guy was in Atlanta. He looked like a beast in STL. RB's just don't last in this league anymore. Shows how great of a career Freddy has had for us

JimBob2232 Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Perfect fit. He has never been on a team win a winning record. Welcome home SJ!
CSBill Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Whom would you rather have at this point in their careers, Steven Jackson or CJ Spiller? You can't sign both. All things considered, I would take Spiller.
