There would be a ton of teams interested in Ngata if he came available and he'd get paid big time. I seriously doubt that the Ravens let that happen though. On the slim chance that they do I don't see the Bills as players for him at all. Logically, why would they? His role would be to take the starting job of Kyle Williams and to fill in for Dareus on rotation when he needed a breather and Williams was in. That's what he does for the Ravens. That rotation would be ridiculous (in the best of ways), but no way is it economically feasible nor would it be acceptable for Williams (or Ngata) to get bumped from a starters spot. I'd guess that Oakland and Cleveland would be the two most likely destinations as they have both a great deal of cap space and a great need for interior DL. He's going nowhere though so it's really a moot point.

He wouldn't take anyone's role because we don't have anyone in that role. He would however effect how we play and hence playing time. He would essentially move Kyle and Dareus to end with either Mario or Hughes with a hand in the dirt or both to LB. When Mario and Hughes are used as down lineman or the threat of it Kyle Williams comes out. I think Kyle would be effected most in terms of playing time.

Probably. Ngata played 49% of Ravens snaps last year, 65% pace before suspension, Branch played 52% of Bills D snaps in 2013. Kyle Williams played over 80% that year, Dareus 72%.

So I do not think Kyle Williams can play 80+ again, maybe he and Dareus Switch.

AJ Hawk got cut and while he has never lived up to his college days he might be good enough to fill the part-time role they had in mind for Brandon Spikes. Also gives us decent depth for if/when one of our LBs gets injured. Lets face it, folks, LBs often get injured since they play in one of the nastiest positions in the game. Couldnt hurt to have Hawk as our backup. The good news is, if nothing else, his availability knocks Spikes' market value down a notch.

Reggie Bush getting cut couldnt come at a worse time for CJ Spiller too.

Have interest in Evans, Marshall or Colston.

I agree on Evans & Marshall. Colston seemed to be just going thru the motions last year. Because he was on my FF team, I specifically watched him run routes. He looked slow & lumbering. I also noticed that Brees didn't seem to target him. Not sure why.

Of course it's valuable but we need a RB, no? So why not address it now that fits the new coaching staff's plans or before we have more holes in this roster?

Ingram fits what they want.

Picking up Schaub as a backup could be very savvy. He was a very good starting QB for several years before catching a bad case of the yips. If he can get his confidence back, he's way better than Kyle Orton.

Schaub is the guy with the best resume (if cut) in FA, you sign him and maybe he finds whatever is that he needs to find to become the average starter he was with the Texans. You never know.
